It has recently came to our attention that some people have had some complaints and misunderstandings related to the YouTube features of FTV. To clear everything up here are a few explanations.

QUOTE (YouTube Terms of use Section 5. User Submissions)
For clarity, you retain all of your ownership rights in your User Submissions. However, by submitting the User Submissions to YouTube, you hereby grant YouTube a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Submissions in connection with the YouTube Website and YouTube's (and its successor's) business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the YouTube Website (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. You also hereby grant each user of the YouTube Website a non-exclusive license to access your User Submissions through the Website, and to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform such User Submissions as permitted through the functionality of the Website and under these Terms of Service. The foregoing license granted by you terminates once you remove or delete a User Submission from the YouTube Website.
QUOTE (YouTube Terms of use Section 5. User Submissions)
In addition, YouTube provides an "Embeddable Player" feature, which you may incorporate into your own personal, non-commercial websites for use in accessing the materials on the Website, provided that you include a prominent link back to the YouTube website on the pages containing the Embeddable Player. YouTube reserves the right to discontinue any aspect of the YouTube Website at any time.
In short, we are granted a non-exclusive license to access, to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform the videos viewable through YouTube's Embedded Player on Fansub TV's Video Tube in accordance to YouTube's terms and conditions and agreements.
All that FTV is doing is display embedded YouTube videos in accordances to YouTube's terms of use as outlined here and we added an indexing and search functionalities in order to display videos in an "intelligent" manner.
The technique used to display the videos are outlined here (this can be found in the "YouTube Help center".)
