I agree. The Kurogane X Tomoyo scene was quite touching. She is also quite the dreamseer, since she has her blacksmiths crafted a copy of Ginryuu, which in turn becomes a payment to Yuko in place of the real Ginryuu...

Now that the story comes full circle back to Clow country... the story is ready to end. R!Syaoran gets his one last chance to save Sakura, will he make it? Tune in to find out! Same Tsubasa time, same Tsubasa channel...

hmm... been thinking this for a while, but not sure if anyone else has been (and posted it) or if it even works out. So we have the 2 Sakuras. But Fei Wong has just said that the real one has now died because of how the curse/cloning works or something.

We don't know how her father (The Clow country's Clow Reed) died. What if it was somehow a payment to save his daughters life later on? Or perhaps the Clow from Cardcaptor Sakura's realm. He just turned to Yue & Kero and said 'I'm gonna die today' pretty much. Maybe that's how he knew when he'd die?


Or maybe I just want to have a happy ending too much!

Fei Wong never said the real sakura has died! However, he mentioned that the real sakura's body had been destroyed during the replication process. Fei Wong still need R'sakura to be alive for other purposes so he keeps her soul somewhere in his place, possibly in that tube and so, now we have the 2 sakuras, C'sakura's body and R'sakura's soul . As for Clow, i don't really believe he is the same Clow from Cardcaptor Sakura's realm however, i do believe they both have the same power that can foresee the future (and maybe that's how he knew when he'd die). Besides, Yuuko has said that even though the two people may fundamentally look the same, they may have different lives in separate world, this is the main reason i don't believe he is the Clow from CCS's realm.  

PS: Can't wait for the next chapter! I'm sure Clamp will make a happy ending since their X series was discontinued for such a tragic ending idea!

I agree Syaoran and the others DESERVE a happy ending especially after they all been through.

Considering the fact that only three out of all their manga had a happy endings i have somewhat omnious feeling that we won't get anything happy...that is happy in our sense. I am sure that they will think out something like rg-veda_happy ending >.>
 
i honestly think that clamp will create a happy ending for this series and for xxxholic as well. i mean, tsubasa and xxxholic were meant to tie all their works together and it makes sense for it to have a happy ending, right?
i am really excited for this next chapter too....i really want to know what's going to happen next. actually, i really just want to know what that opening scene from volume 1 means, just like all of us

Its not to tie all their works, but in a sense, to place all their works in one multiverse - like Marvel or DC.Comics did with their creation. But in a sense it has no connections with other series than xxxholic.

And I can see somewhat a happy end for trc(with some deaths of course), but holic? It was a depressing train wreck since we got the scene of r!syaoran and yuuko meeting.


the most likelly happy end i can see is the repeat of X with a twist:
everyone dies in some way, fwr gets pwned in some way, sakura's powers rewind time, the manga ends with young R!Syaoran meeting up with young Sakura in clow country(of course everyone else stays dead >.>).
 
Oh thats a horrible ending idea. Lets hope it never comes to pass. True, it seems likely however that there will some be some dethas among the good guys. One of the syaoran has to go really, dont no which one it will be. Although it saddens me, I think Fai will die, maybe whilst protecting Kurogane. Mainly because if you think about it, Fai has nowhere to go. If they defeat FWR and all returns to normal, he no longer has a world.Its quite sad really. Unsurprisingly, I dont want Kurogane to die, I love him to much. But if they do, then Fai has to die to, cos he needs his blood. Clamp surely cant kill them both can they? Can they?!?!? *starts to get scared*. I also think it is likely that Yuuko will die. Everything she is and does seems to lead up to the final confrontation with FWR. Maybe she will die in the process of defeating him. However I love her and hope she dosent.

Well...both of them dieing would fit with happy ending - they died together, thus its happy. Even more so if one dies protecting other and the one left dies getting revenge for the one who died first. If only one of them survived - that would mean that he would get BAD end, and it was stated that only one will get BAD end.


I can totally imagine Clonie ending up charging at fwr, only to get pwnzored at the last fight. thus that settles out the Clonnie. he would regain the heart, getting the anti-hero Syaoran personality, go on to get revenge, and would get pwned.

So that sorts out three characters with HAPPY ends already...

Also - remember the thing about "unable to return to the same dimension" - kuro already been in japan, so how do you think he would be able to return?

Thats interesting thing - the ones traveling now to the Clow, have never been there.

Remember the ending of the X/1999 movie? Everyone just died one way or another. I just don't want that to happen. Everyone knows that there will be hell to pay for if at least Sakura didn't have a happy ending with either Syaoran. I just had a horrible premonition that it will be either Fai or Kuro. And a worse vision of something like start of X when Kakyo talked to Subaru's dead sister (I can't remember her name) for Kuro and Tomoyo. Waaaaaaaah!

I'm actually reallly getting into tons of internal memory theories. What were the themes and questions again???
- The dead cannot come back to life.
- Hitsuzen
- Memories.
- CLAMP's happy endings always involve the death of a well-liked character
- Clow Reed (I'm still baffled... which Clow Reed??? The CCS Clow or the Clow Country Clow??? I'm actually leaning towards the CCS Clow because if you would look back at how Kero would always describe him, he seems to have a pretty shady past. Maybe he was also a dreamseet who talked to the Clow Country king about Sakura??? Maybe.)
- Why Fei Wong Reed keep referring Clow to be his descendant? If he was an ancestor, couldn't he just change everything??? Yeah yeah hitsuzen.
 
main theories are

- You kill - karma kills you...slowly.

- Dreamseer powers define the "POWERFUL". Controled Dreamseer ability often means that character is quite powerful.
- Clow is Jeesus-equivalent of clampverse.
- Descendants of Clow have ability to surpass him and are, by themselves, a powerhouses.
- FWR is Descendant of Clow. Sakura is Descendant of Clow, Syaoran is Descendant of Clow.
- Re-incarnation is possible.
- One wanting to change the destiny he has, mostly pays with his life or another heavy price.

If everyone dies in some way and if R'syaoran and Sakura and everyone else stays dead, how is it possible for them (R'syaorand and Sakura) to reunited again in clow country as youngsters? I'm mean, aren't the dead suppose to stay dead?

Besides, Mrs Kurogane-chan is right! That would be a horrible ending if everyone ends up dying and honestly, I don't think many TCR fans would like to see some of their heroes going to get killed again and clamp should know about it as well!

By the way, I'm still curious about the connection between syaoran and watanuki. Yuuko stated that they were closer to each other than anybody else and that they shared a strong bond . Perhaps, watanuki is also Descendant of Clow do you think?

There are quite a few speculation as to who Watanuki really is. Some say he is the heart that R!Syaoran try to foster in cloney. Other suggests it is so and so... Heck, at this point, I still have not rule out Watanuki is a certain someone's re-incarnation.

When we finally get the answer to the riddle, it might be so damn obvious.
 
okay i just found out the chapter release schedules for tsubasa and xxxholic

For Tsubasa:
02/13 - Shonen Magazine #11 - No Tsubasa scheduled.
02/20 - Shonen Magazine #12 - No Tsubasa scheduled.

For xxxholic:
02/11 - Young Magazine #11 - Chapter 150.
02/18 - Young Magazine #12 - Chapter 151.

sad that there's not going to be a tsubasa release for 2 weeks but i guess clamp's making up for it by updating xxxholic. but then again, clamp does deserve a break after doing i don't know how many weeks of tsubasa -sighs- still, i really want to know what's going on in tsubasa

I agree! Clamp surely do know how to plot a good twist! We don't know what Clamp hold instore for us in the next shocking moment. Imagine Watanuki turns out to be R'syaoran and R'sakura's future son and everyone will be like

Hmm... let's see: this is what we have in the mixing bowl for the conclusion:

- R!Syaoran
- R!Sakura soul
- C!Syaoran
- C!Sakura body
- Watanuki
- Vampire Fai
- Cyborg Arm Kuro


Speculated roles in the conclusion, assuming Clamp goes with a happy ending to please the fans:

I will start off with the easy ones - Fai & Kuro will provide muscle power... might end up in some live or death situation to get Syaoran to Sakura. (I hate to say it, but they are on side show status thanks to the SyaoSyaoSakuSaku

). Fai might get his eye back near the end to teleport the gang to Yuko's place, where the final battle take place.

Watanuki - he is not a fighter, so he would likely be guiding Syaoran to Sakura's soul with his dream seeing ability... As such, it is likely that he has some latent magical power that he will unleash at the final battle, especially if he is a reincarnation of who I think he is.

C!Syaoran - will ammend for his misdeeds. I am guessing he will fight Syaoran one more time... and he will rebel against FWR to die a heroic death. He might also help retrieve Sakura's body (2 Syaorans working together).

Sakura - she is the biggest question mark for me right now. I don't see Clamps making her a damsel in distress. There ought to be something she is trying to do... like saving the 2 clones. One possibility is for her to use FWR's power to save the clones instead of fulfilling his wish.
 
Now I thought about one thing.... could Clonnie, assuming he survives the big encounter with FWR, become main villain? after FWR is pawned?

I mean - he would have the reason to want for the same power as FWR did as Clonnie would want to resurrect C!Sakura.

This way we would get an EPIX grand SvsS fight, with Clonnie loosing and as he dies, he sees a vision of C!Sakura, or his memories of her.

I fear for the group now...and now I am completelly sure that there won't a complete happy end(as we understand the word happy.)...
