While boredom stuck me rather hard as of late and decided to wonder back into the grindings of the Touhou Labyrinth once more, and I finally managed to obtain Kaguya. Yes I know it's all from the Merlin Playlist, but the Lunasa one doesn't have the songs I was hoping to post up yet. And the Lyrica Playlist is taken down due to personal reasons from Myonbel, and I dare not want to pry into that mess.
 
It looks like at this Comiket we're getting a sequal to the Castlevania Touhou game. Although this time it looks like Sakuya is taking the lead in this sequal since it looks like there is trouble once again brewing the in the Scarlet Devil Castle again.

From the looks of it you get more than just three support characters this time. Aside from Marisa they have Meling, Patchy, Alice, and even Reimu as support. Of course Flandre is in the main line instead of an Extra so this might be interesting to play. Although it seems like it will be released at this winter's Comiket, so hopefully there will at least some kind of Engrish patch down the road... one can only hope.

Out of major boredom I managed to come across a fan game called Sengoku Gensokyo. Pretty much if you've hear or played Sengoku rance you'd know what this game is about more or less. Pretty much Yukari decided to start an incident that would envolve all of Gensokyo. Of course Reimu pretty much doesn't want to do anything about it, but was draged into it thanks to her friend Marisa of course. The only groups that are not involved are anyone after FoFV or StB until the game is cleared of course.

It's pretty much a well thought out game if you ask me, but this could be considered on what could happen if Yukari got Really bored.

Also, the game has a patch for it found on the Touhou Wikia of course.

Best way to bring something back to life is some music baised off of the IN series. Although it would techincally be really thew Stage 4 Theme and Ex-Kiene's theme, but it's well worth the listen if you ask me.

Well pretty much preoccupied on redoing the story mode and free for all mode in Sengoku Gensokyo. You know to be honest I kind of see this as a possiblity of happening since Yukari would probably do something like this for her amusement of course. Although seeing a few of the PC-98 crew jumping into the fight makes it were their predasessors are not forgotten by the fans it would seem.

Truth be told I kind of prefer Extend Ash ~ Hourai Victim for her, and I really don't know why. Maybe because if feels a bit upbeat, or it's really the Stage song for Moku.

I sure left you hanging, didn't I? Been fairly busy with end of year stuff at work, I don't think I've even finished most of the shows from last anime season. Well, I plan to catch up this weekend and hopefully drop some more responses in this thread for you.

It looks like the 5th m-1 is out, and fortunately our fellow touhou fanatics have been working on subbing it away. Here's what I've seen so far:

Last but not least, apparently the wikia pissed off a lot of the touhou wiki mods with some draconian layout changes, and they decided to re-do the wiki in another location. Instead of using the touhou wikia, now you should use www.touhouwiki.net. The wikia will slowly fall out of relevance as it stops receiving updates from the old power users.

It was getting a little lonely with me being here all by myself.

So far yes the 5th M1 is now out and being transated. Also, they even have the entire thing on YouTube, but untranslated of course. Also, some others are already translated, but not in English though.

In anycase I still kind of wonder what the 13th game will be. Although I'll laugh if all of a sudden we get a 12.9 game out of all of this instead.

Well in any case gensokyo.org has come out with a few new manga it would seem. Pretty much a good list if you ask me. My favorite ones would be the doujin about how Reimu really never resovled anything since she always kept getting the "Bad Ends" and what not. Another doujin that truned into not only a MaribelxRenko bit but also a HatatexAya in one go. Pretty much in that one Aya and Hatate are outside the border of Gensokyo, and probably undercover for various of reasons of course.

Another doujin that I kind of enjoyed was the one with Meling wondering who she should care for since Sakyua is out of the question.

Oh yeah is seems that Old World is getting to be a popular song to arrage it would seem here. I guess people are starting to like that Were Cow it would seem.

So the Unoffical Touhou anime is getting it's second OVA. Well it's about time they did it though, but I'm kind of supprised that they are going for it this time. I mean from what I heard they didn't make enough sales for the second OVA. Although I guess they got the funds to do it now.

Well sometimes while I verry bored I come across gems at times. Well this one is no exception of course. Pretty much this is somewhat of a Walfas-like fan story that more or less is fun to watch. Aside from that moomar from the Lyrica playlist pretty much put ChaosAngel to shame on re-uploading the channel that was on myonbel's past channel. Anyways it is nice to see that the Lyrica section is in good hands as of now, and is being updated as well instead of being left for dead of course (no pun intended).

Still I kind of wonder if ZUN is ever going to release another game anytime soon. The only thing I know of so far is that the second chapter of Wild and horned Hermit was released at Comiket of course, so it'll be a matter of time before it's translated though.

Speculation suggests either Reitaisai 8 or C80. I don't know how frequently he actually releases stuff, just going on hearsay from more knowledgeable addicts.

Although I think a lot of the fans would like to see her back in action. I mean she did show promise and the fans tend to reconize her no problem. Which only begs the question of where is she hiding before she actually makes a move.

Also, UFO actually took them back to Makai but they had little to no recollection of being there at one point. So it brings up one more question, and that would be one that I'm sure Ex-Kiene would like an answer for. Who messed up the history of Gensokyo and why?

Oddly enough it was like when the 6th game came out it was feeling like it was the 1st game. So the only answer to why it was numbered 6 instead of 1 for the windows series is because he might be going by how many games he did with Reimu and also Marisa of course.

Although still I'll like to see a few of the old members from the PC-98 days to come back as themselves instead of remasked and renamed just to fit in once more.

So they finally decided to do the full version. Pretty much they did the whole fight scene with her, but adding Satori and Orin at the end there. as for the East New Sound one I have to say it's ok but kind of dragging if you ask me.

Oh yeah I keep on forgetting to comment on your new avay wedora-san. With the way it looks I'd say either Ex-Kiene noticed Moku in the shower, or she glomped Moku in said shower.

Either way it pretty much shows that she is easlily described to do yuri things to Moku. Kind of like how Kagua and Moku kind of have this wierd love-hate-S&M relationship.

I don't know if anyone is aware, but there is a Touhou Wiki at Wikia that is changing itself to be more of a social networking site for everything Touhou related. People will be able to upload their (appropriate) user created content or add links to theisr spaces. There will be featured articles started up that will showcase artists or people who have user created content. The background will be picked from someone who wants to have their picture up and shown (and of course, everyone will know who made it). The information that keeps it sort of like an encylopedia will stay and can continue to be added to, if people want it.

We are looking for helpers, or anyone that is actually willing to take a productive part in this wiki, because it is being vandalized by a few people from the new one, who do not care that we are trying to not compete with their new wiki site (which is why we aore making such a large change in the first place!) We do not endorse the dispute going on, nor do we actually want it to happen (we would add the newer wiki site up as a link to go to, but... they are making things very hard in the friendly category

I know that there was a transition between changing servers due to draconic items implimented to the first wiki making it were they had to relocate it to the en.touhouwiki.net though. Also, how some of the old members liked how the system was before the big change they made with it.

In any case I'm not even sure how the dispute between the two wiki sites started, but to be honest I rather not get involved in what could turn into a total mess if things aren't sorted out properly between the two parties if you ask me.
 
From what I was understanding, there was a wiki that was moved to Wikia, then Wikia created the Oasis skin a a bunch of people didn't like it and moved to the link you posted. Wikia didn't shut down the old one (which is the one that I am helping to remake into something different) and some people from the newer one have decided to take it upon themselves to vandalize whenever they get the chance, even though we have made it perfectly clear that we do want to link to that site, work with them, and not compete with them in anyway whatsoever >.>

We're changing the name soon, adding in a new background, trying to get people to submit their user created content, etc. We are trying to do two different things, the only trouble we're coming across is getting them to realize that no one cares that they are the main wiki, and we've even come to accept it.

The big problem is with them, not the Wikia wiki. Their main problem with the Wikia wiki is that it exists, because every other topic can have multiple wikis except Touhou

There are no hard feelings from the Wikia side. We are not vandalizing the new wiki, we are not patronizing the new wiki, we just exist >.> so... we're causing trouble for them because we're higher up on google (which probably won't last too long, lol).

But, it's actually great if you contribute to both. I don't care if you contribute encyclopedia information to the new one, and then decide to upload a fan made picture to the old one.

So in other words you would like to do a major overhaul of the wikia site to link to the newer wiki site correct? If that's the case it sounds like a reasonable deal there for the people on the newer wiki to help change it were it's no longer competing between the two. Besides you guys are an older site so of course you'd be on the top of the search for a while until the newer site gets more traffic as well.

As for what we do in this thead pretty much discuss the cannon games along with some fo the fanmade games. Also, we tend to show off either music videos or music arranges on this thread. You're more that welcome to parruse though this thread of course. The only setback is we don't have that many pics posted up here. Probably because we're a bit lazy to do so I guess.

Well, yea, our first plan of the wiki was to make it so it was just more like an extension for the social aspect, so people can be connected to one another, which was supposed to include the new wiki and any other site. But we'll see if it all works out.

But yea, we didn't want people coming to an empty wiki and if it wasn't going to be taken down, it might as well have some other use for people out there since it won't be the main information holder.

I'm new and have been trying to play some of the games. @.@ I started with Shoot the Bullet, it is so hard for me! Haha. I guess the only way to actually get better with it is to just try and try again. Unless you have more helpful hints!

I've been playing most of the cannon games and dodging bullets the entire time. What fanmade games do you recommend or see as really good? I'm open to almost anything.

I'll probably be looking back into your postings for some things like music and all that >.> which was why I got interested in Touhou.
