In the old days PC's were these large overbearing structures that occupied rooms of immense size and drew massive amounts of current. Good thing that is is no longer the "old days" as the the idea of a Personal Media Player (PMP) such as the iPod, Zen, Sansa, or Zune would be decades away. But enough reminiscing, lets get to the point. Podcasts.
Do not be fooled, podcasts are not limited to the white earbud crowd, many other PMP's support podcasts, with varying codec support. Our wonderful open-source Wikipedia defines a podcast as:
QUOTE "A podcast is a bcollection of digital media files which is distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and personal computers."
Simply put, whomever wishes to create a podcast needs 3 things. A place to store the media file, a RSS syndication method, and a website/URL to distribute the RSS feed. So, it occured to me, FTV has all of these things! With a little creative effort there could be a whole lot of potential.
Imagine this, when you add a series to your watch list it would update your RSS profile. Just add your personal RSS URL and BAM you have anime on your PMP
