Description:
After many years of dormant rest, a hot springs fairy awakens in modern-day Japan. However, while she slept, she took on the appearance of a young girl. She decides to cooperate with the locals whilst trying to regain her powers.
First impression after 4 episodes:
Looks and descriptions can be deceiving for this series. It sounds like a mediocre series and sure it has its problems. However this ain't as bad as expected. Don't expect a grand series with lots of depth for its characters. It is important for this series to look at what it really is: a small series to entertain for a few minutes and in the mean time be a sort of advertisement for the Hakone area. Just look at the areas where it is playing: Hakone Yumoto with the bridge and station, the footbaths and onsens..It wants to attract more Japanese to the area (if you have ever been there it is just like Sora no method did with the Toya lake area. The writers hope you recognize the area and want to come back there again). In all for me right now it is a nice 7 out of 10 for being a small little series to watch when you have time to spare (and for me remembering the area where the story plays).
