Seems like youre not reading what I write -.-
I said that she is strong, is it not possible for you to understand that? Or do you just want to have me have a bad opinion of Robin to justify your posts? Then sorry but never did I say shes weak. Just like I wrote in my second sentence of the last post "shes strong, but not awesome". I would never say she is weak, since she my most favorite character in One Piece.

Ok yeah Usopp doesnt really have that much strength but Nami has. Seems like this time you dont see the strength of a character.
Nobody except her could use her rod like her since she has a high intelligence and weather-understanding what can make her really strong. You just have to look what she did against Kalifa with the mirror selves for example.

And you cant really call the zipper guy proving strength since he was lousy and brook lost. Thats a bit worse than not having a single match, right?

ok i will put my two cent worth about an under-rated straw hat crew Member Usopp. Usopp is strong when you look at his battle with Luffy over merry, you get a glimps of Usopp real strength. Just that oda needs to give him more confidents and it time to upgrade the sling shot. what he really need is power, high level opponents are not got to hurt with the level of bombs blast and stars he is using. but we do know that his dad is really powerful and that he is part of shanks crew, aka one of the four emperors.

Nice cover, hinting at what Sabo would of looked like had he been older. A bit of fandom there.

Nothing much happened, although Usopp's thoughts on the situation was quite interesting. If the rest of the SH could up there game to atleast Zoro's level, they should be fine.

@franzoir: What Sabo would look like? Im sure he does like like that.

So everyone is trying to find their way to get stronger for Luffy. Still I wonder just why did Kuma this and has sent them to islands where there is exactly the things they need to be stronger. Is this all Dragons plan?

I dont understand, are you saying you think Sabo is still alive?

I took the picture to be a "What if" i.e What if Ace and Sabo were still alive alongside Luffy. Hence why we dont see Sabo's face. Maybe he's still alive... i dunno.

Same i took it as a 'What If' kinda thing since the only way i think that would of had any real meaning if he were still alive if he had been featured, not as Sabo but as a reccuring guy who you kinda notice after awhile. Thats just my take on it, since i will be annoyed if Sabo turns up alive and is happily living in the New World as a good pirate or with Dragon, i dont know why but id feel cheated if that were the case.

Im more than sure (and not only me) that back then Dragon was saving Sabo and Sabo now is one of Dragons best men. Back then when Sabos ship was destroyed Dragon was near and later he was asked by his crew why he jumped in the water.
And since its One Piece where storyparts from long ago are still actual I dont think it is otherwise.

See if thats true, while i think it would be nice for Sabo since it means he has been able to watch Luffy and the late Ace grow into fine pirates, although it must of hurt for him to stand by and do nothing regarding Ace though especialy with Luffy trying will all his might to save him.

But from my point of view if thats th base id be really dissapointed, maybe if we were told the whole Sabo thing ages ago then maybe id care for him, but he just doesnt interest me, especialy his well being, id rather him be dead.

Well this was an amazing chapter. I was well aware that when Kuma sent the SH crew away it was building up to a timeskip but i didnt think it would be so long. I figured it would be a year max.

Zoro twisted logic was outstanding. Im am very sure he doesnt care about beating Mihawk anymore, what he wants is to make Luffy the Pirate King. I am now hoping Mihawk and Zoro dont fight. It would be pretty redundant now.

Im really excited about the possibilities that will emerge when they reunite. One thing i like about One Piece is they never have training arcs so i hope by the next chapter it will be 2 years later. Luffy is definitely going to be a new beast when he comes out.

So the way i see it haki is just a fusion of the force and hunter x hunter nen ability. Also after what happened with Coby, im sure everyone knew that mantra=haki.I swear if Usopp and Zoro dont learn haki as well i will be unimpressed.

Ah really cannot wait for the next chapter. Its gonna come out in a month's time is that to symbolise the time gap or is it because Oda wants to drive me insane. If this was any other manga they would not get away with that.

I disagree, i wouldnt be suprisded if Zoro challenges Mihawk or something to that effect at the end of his training to see how far he has indeed progressed. Like a student surpassing the master kinda thing.

QUOTE I swear if Usopp dont learn haki as well i will be unimpressed. Agreed if Usopp doesnt learn that location one than that will be really lame on his part.

A great character with two nessecary explanations about the code and haki.

I too dont really think we will see them training. I think we get to see flashbacks of them training while fighting the next few greater enemies.

I wouldnt say that 2 years are that long since we still dont know just how the times goes in the OP world. Thye could be already out sailing for 5 years or something. And if you look at the new world, they defenitely need that time since there are people whove trained for more than 30 years or more.

But 4 weeks without OP, how can Oda do that -.-

we probably see some of the training but not all. cause i think the image of them suddenly standing together looking visibly strong would be much more dramatic than going through all the training and knowing there new ability.

but 2 year is too long. they should make it like one year. btw can we really call the crew pirate? they did nothing remotely pirate ish except maybe the flag

Well since in OP you seem to fall into 1 of 3 catagorys: World Gorvernment, Pirate or Civillian. The sure as hell aint WG, if they are civillians best civilans ive ever seen. So that just leaves Pirate!

Not at all. Shichibukais, Yonkous, Revolutionaries etc. And i would say they are distinctly different from just pirates.

@Askara, they act like Pirates, like the time they stole gold from Skypeia even though they would of got the gold anyway. Oda tells the story in such a way in where he makes them look like good guys however they are bad guys that do good things. There is a difference.

Shicibukai, kinda blur the line of Pirate and WG, Yonkous are still Pirates, they just er have their 'might' respected by the WG, And revolutionaries in the eyes of the government are still pirates.

@ Franny: You point to Askara, Robin Hood

QUOTE (Hiasubi @ Aug 27 2010, 01:38 PM) And revolutionaries in the eyes of the government are still pirates.

Pirates are criminals of the sea. Revolutionaries are organised soldiers fighting for a cause. There is a very BIG difference. Pirates dont care whether the WG exist or not, they just want to rob, pillage and plunder. Revolutionaries follow an ideological cause and seek to dispose of the current corrupt government in order to install one that works for the people. I dont see how the two compare.

In that sense it was clever for Oda not to involve Dragon in the War.

I was sitting in a lecture today and all I could think about was One Piece. This past month was torture for me, the withdrawal symptons started to hit me bad halfway. Their should be some kind of rehabilitation program when Oda does this.

As for the chapter, in terms of plot development it wasnt the best, but just looking at the crew new looks and a taste of their new powers was more than enough to be amazing. Out of everyone, the one who I was most looking forward to and surprised me the most was Usopp. He really did graduate. Yasopp would be proud. The guy must of been eating iron for the past two years.

Another great part of this chapter was the humour. From Luffy's casual dissmisal of Boa's advances to the fake SH crew (they looked really fugly). There were other things to take notice of such as who is after Robin and will Chopper finally realised thats not Sanji and Zoro. But im really itching to see Luffy fight. I just know he is a beast machine now.

Ahh now that One Piece is back, I feel at ease.

Such a great chapter. Never thought that their appearence would change that much. Luffy with a bigass Scar, Zoro with one on his eye, Sanji with a beard, Franky with some scars and almost without hair and Nami with beautiful long hair. I can only say that both Robin and Nami got even more bautiful now. I hope by that time the animation quality hasnt dropped again in the anime like it did before the big war (just remembering Robin beeing white is macking me puke -.-).

Im really looking forward to see everyone fight. Usopp is pretty surprising, didnt think he shoots with living beeings now.
Robins followers are probably either enemy of the revolution army or the revolution army itself, what I think is probably more true.

But Im really surprised that nobody seems to see that that are defenitley not the Straw Hats. Even Chopper XD

Damn the one month waiting was worth it. I just hope we got to know what happened in these two years, not only to the Straw Hats, but everyone. Like the Marines, the Rookies from two years ago, especially Bonnie and of course Blackbeard and Whitebeards crew.

@ser4: What do you mean with Zoros left hand? I cant see it, but I dont think that means that he doesnt have one any more. I mean youre not seeing a lof of their hands.
