Episode 9
After finally putting her snacks down Elma suddenly realises the terrible work conditions in Kobayashi's office!
Kobayashi is resigned to the status quo and more accepting of her fate but this does not stop Elma from raging against the MACHINE!!!
She channels this energy into writing a proposal into improving work conditions but this is only met with amusement…
Her second effort holds more promise but ultimately the results are similar. Instant rejection!
Time for take three and Elma’s new plan is simply staggering in the sheer quantity of content. No stone is left unturned and not all of that is a good thing!
Her crazy “1984” plan is summarily dismissed but this time they all get a call to the office. Uh oh!
The meeting is a brief affair with perhaps the CEO taking pity over the fact they are friends with Shouta. Elma is bought out with a few delights.
But despite accepting this bribe Elma still decides to complain! Wow not even sweets can curb her mighty spirit!
Her perseverance is rewarded and soon she is holding rallies with other staff and is even getting support from the most surprising sources!
But the conniving CEO manages to break all of Elma’s arguments. In the end her schemes to improve workers conditions is foiled with Elma's one weakness; her sweet tooth! I swear Elma is like the cookie monster!
Spending a beautiful midsummer’s day devouring sweets Elma is interrupted by Kanna, Saikawa and Shouta who all want to go on a picnic.
They can only go if accompanied by an adult and with Kobayashi and Tohru out of the picture Elma has to play the role of babysitter!
They reach their spot and decide a spot of fishing is the best thing to do.
It is not long before Saikawa and the group catch fish and they get to enjoy the spoils of their catch!
A moment’s lapse in concentration and all the kids have disappeared!
A panic-stricken Elma searches desperately and absolutely loses it!
This time not even Kanna can hide the truth from Elma’s latest stunt!
Elma’s grand appearance does allow her to find the trio and she scolds them for running off…
She easily forgives them however…
What’s this?! Why is Elma cutting deals with Fafnir? What could she possibly be scheming siding with a rival dragon?
Elma manages to arrange a duel and challenges Tohru to a fight!
Both dragons kick up a storm as this seems to be a furious fight to the death!
But just as we think Armageddon is coming, the girls manage to reconcile their feelings. How sweet!
Episode 10
The unthinkable has happened and Kanna has got into an argument with Kobayashi! She flies away in disgust…
But seeing as the night makes her sleepy, she sets for brighter shores…
In this new place she is startled by the sights and the people!
Just where has Kanna landed?
She decides to do a little sightseeing of this mysterious place…
Kanna gets a little peckish so decides to hit the hotdog stand.
Unfortunately for her she hits some language and cultural barriers.
But do not doubt the might of the dragons! It only takes a few moments for Kanna to master the arts of this obscure foreign language that hardly anyone knows about!
Some problems are less easily solved and her money is STILL not accepted! Blimey how can people in this city be so unfriendly? Down on her luck and still hungry, Kanna meets what looks like a damsel in distress.
Kanna offers to help and dispatches the evil men in dramatic fashion!
After the brief foray, introductions are exchanged between the girls.
Chloe explains some juicy details about the cities inner political power struggles but is quickly interrupted by Kanna who simply wants to have fun and let loose! I just hope Saikawa isn’t watching this!
Grateful for Kanna’s help Chloe decides to get a nice treat for Kanna but the plonker won’t accept her card. Come on man get it together!
Thankfully Chloe has a few bob and manages to secure some hotdogs from the fool.
With their stomachs filled the girls decide to check out the sights of this city together.
Kanna seems to have spotted Kobayashi but it is just a fake. Her initial excitement quickly turns to disappointment… Is our dragon loli starting to miss Kobayashi?
The day passes and just as Chloe is jumping up and down with excitement Kanna breaks the bad news that she has to bounce.
Just as the girls are at the brink of saying their tearful farewells some bustas decide to kidnap Chloe! Oh boy those guys won’t know what hit them…
Chloe is cornered, afraid and normally the situation would look rather grim. But little does she know she has befriended a powerful dragon! Kanna is on the case and will make short work of these nutters!
Yep, it is as we expected! Kanna shows that with overwhelming force any fight can be averted! The guys scatter like rats when they see the true might of Kanna!
Chloe attempts to runaway herself until she realises her saver is none other than Kanna! Kanna says it is time for both of them to go home and she whisks Chloe home in scenes that would make Saikawa acutely jealous!
Kanna returns home feeling guilty and wants to apologize. She is startled by Tohru’s sudden appearance but ultimately does the right thing…
It’s a hot summer’s day and everyone is knackered out from the heat!
Kanna decides to cool off with tea and a helping of ice-cream.
Everyone bar Kanna and Kobayashi is out so to not make the day a total write off Kanna decides to do a spot of homework only for that to end in a disaster!
Kobayashi saves the day and tells Kanna to pick up the mail while she cooks a meal!
Look at this! Chloe has sent Kanna a letter saying she plans on visiting sometime soon, I wonder how that will turn out?
Running out of tea Kobayashi and Kanna decide to take a stroll around the block. Kanna gets a sudden fascination with the various manholes around town.
Kobayashi is exhausted but luckily the latest manhole has led them straight to a nice café where the pair can cool off.
It is but a small break and this time Kanna finds something really interesting!
A sudden downpour comes and they both retreat into a place with some shelter
When the rain finally stops Kobayashi suggests no is the time to go home.
