In an unusual turn of events Fafnir asks Quetzalcoatl if she will help him in some mysterious project…
Curious to learn more, she ventures into Fafnir’s cave to discover he wants to create a manga. Is it for treasure, is it for power or is he just indulging an ecchi fetish?
Fafnir hears from the grapevine that to get a manga to sell he has got to dish out some fanservice and this is where Quetzalcoatl comes in…
She is less than pleased to fill this role…
That is until she hears the premise that bears a striking resemblance to Quetzalcoatl’s current life…
Oh, what irony it is that she thinks that the old lady’s behaviour is cruel! I suppose it is do as I say and not as I do.
Despite the questionable plot she decides to model for Fafnir.
Just when Quetzalcoatl thinks she is done Fafnir insists she poses in more extreme positions that are too hardcore to be shown…
After all is said and done Fafnir presents the fruits of his labour which leaves Quetzalcoatl speechless!
Makoto comes in and his appearance strengthens Fafnir resolve in outselling his manga in the manga exhibition. Just as he is about to pay Quetzalcoatl, she proposes that instead of paying her he should give her some space in the exhibition so she has space to sell her cosplay outfits! Oh, that could be tasty!
It’s the big day and it looks like everyone sold well!
That is except for Fafnir…
But not to worry! It seems like someone got a hold of a copy of his ero manga!
Tohru takes a moment to savour Kobayashi sleeping…
As Kobayashi wakes up, they share a few moments talking about dragons sleeping patterns but then Kobayashi decides to go for a second round of sleep. Not to waste more time Tohru decides to do a spot of shopping when she confronted by her arch nemesis/friend.
After a few choice words Tohru tries to broach the subject of sleep. It would seem Elma has been adjusting to sleep patterns better than her but instead of admitting defeat she decides to throw a few pot shots at Elma…
Her outrage is short-lived as she ponders the fact of why it is so hard to sleep…
Kobayashi reassures that Tohru's sleeping or lack thereof could be due to her trying to conform to dragon expectations. Fortunately for Tohru she got her wish in the end…
Meanwhile in Kanna land her class has to do some sleuthing and the group Kanna is in decides to go on a ghost hunt. Saikawa is less than keen.
But kids being kids the investigation gets side-tracked. First Kanna is declared leader of the group which Saikawa is totally in favour with…
Then a humble gym shoe is used as a bet to see who will confess to their favourite person. It is girls versus boys contest in a game of football! The girls are running rings around the boys though with Kanna showing off her mad football skillz!
But just as we think the day is done there is a sound of a ghost!
The group check it out but it seems it was nothing but an open window…
Or was it just that? Kanna; the little detective smells a rat, or should I say fairy?
Capturing this little fiend she questions him about what the hell he was doing!
Episode 8
Shouta decides to get a gift for his father but why do I get the sense there is a big misunderstanding between Shouta and Quetzalcoatl?
Confused, she asks Kobayashi and Tohru why Shoata would be so keen in finding his own present for tits day. What?!
Note: Father and breasts can sound similar in Japanese.
After some painstaking research Shouta manages to procure the suitable materials…
The items are delivered but Quetzalcoatl is still perplexed as to what exactly he is up to…
It does make me wonder, what exactly is Shouta brewing?!
Things do not turn out well unfortunately!
It back to the drawing board as Shouta spells out his troubles with his geeky mates…
Round two it is then! It would seem second times the charm as Shouta manages to create that elusive charm! Oh yeah!
He celebrates his triumph to Quetzalcoatl but then stops before revealing his secret. He presents his prize to his father who praises him. This results in Quezy rewarding him with a nice big titty hug!
Things are more dire in the Kobayashi household. What seems like a normal day quickly turns into a disaster!
A panic stricken Tohru calls Kobayashi’s workplace to say she won’t come to work. Mikato gives her some much needed advice and Tohru is all fired up!
Her fiery confidence is quickly extinguished as Tohru figures she hasn’t got a clue how to treat sick people. She enlists the help of her dragon friends but they just drop a bunch of clangers.
Sanity somehow prevails as Tohru decides feeding Kobayashi maybe the best thing. Ah but good ideas are one thing execution quite the other. Fortunately (unfortunately?) for Kobayashi she wolfs down the questionable "food" like a trooper!
Kobayashi is not getting better as she sweats profusely…
Desperate times call for desperate measures and Tohru takes extreme measures to cure her…
Meanwhile in a planet far away Kobayashi has made a speedy recovery and is A okay!
Tohru is shattered and dishevelled so Kobayashi pities her and decides to take her medicine. Was that really the right thing to do?
The results are remarkable but also comical and cute!
Whilst working Ilulu comes across a lost doll. After giving it a good look, she puts on display but no one claims it so she and Take decides to ask a few of their regulars who the owner of this doll is.
The search is fruitless so Ilulu decides to enlist the aid of Kobayashi! Take seems to find her rather suspicious however.
There is yet another crazy misunderstanding which Tohru fans the flame too.
But after that little mishap it is onto the main trail again as Ilulu continues the search for the doll’s owner. Just as Ilulu despairs Take helps her!
Through mysterious means Kobayashi and Tohru join in and find who the owner is!
