Out of ideas, Tohru calls a meeting with Kobayashi’s workmates to figure out a way to cure Kobayashi’s backpain. For a change Elma actually drops some good suggestions but Tohru still wishes to gravitate towards the tail option... Oh brother!
Tohru ponders what to do next and is surprised with what she sees when entering the house.
She decides to help Kobayashi with her back…
Tohru writes a grimoire of concealment which she hopes to teach Kanna and Ilulu so they can cover their true dragon forms in public. Speaking of keeping a low profile Tohru would do well to give Elma a howler considering recent events!
Kobayashi ponders on this and then makes an epiphany! The coding they do at work has a strange resemblance to the grimoire Tohru used!
This observation catches the attention of her boss who reveals the company works with mages!
This leads to an expected guest appearing…
He goes down memory lane explaining the history of the dragon race and how the dragons initially stood united against the god and his desire for control. Unfortunately, over time the dragons broke into their factions and it is during this time when Tohru was born. It is revealed she was named after a human...
The war largely concerned dragons and gods however things change when humans begin to worship the Harmony faction. This infuriates the Chaos faction who consider humans to be evil from this point.
Tohru’s father then explains that one day Tohru’s zeal led her to take matters into her own hands and she challenges the god all by herself!
This leaves Tohru badly injured where Kobayashi has to take action to save her life. Tohru’s father takes his leave and mentions he never approved of Kobayashi's relationship with Tohru. Despite his misgivings he makes Kobayashi promise to take care of Tohru…
Kobayashi thinks about what was said and her relationship with Tohru.
She then tells Tohru about the meeting she had with her father. Kobayashi then asks to hear her side of the story. Tohru explains her experiences…
Tohru found humans fought a lot but then they also did some curious things which she found interesting. In her travels she met a younger Kanna-chan!
She learns that Kanna had always interacted with humans and Kanna has done so because she liked to pull pranks. Tohru then crosses paths with Quetzalcoatl who she questions about her decision not to fight. Quetzalcoatl says she doesn’t like fighting and urges Tohru to leave the Chaos faction.
Fafnir says that unilateral action is the way to go. Dragons should do whatever they want and not care what anyone thinks. If someone does get in her way she should just eliminate them even if the opposer is her parents! Tohru is less than impressed with this advice…
On the other extreme is Elma who Tohru felt was too heavily influenced by humans…
All these meetings leave Tohru conflicted as she wants to live a life of freedom. At the same time, she doesn’t want there to be fighting and also considers family to be important…
That is when Tohru took matters into her own hands and challenges the god to end the fighting once and for all!
She is struck down and at the brink of death when Kobayashi helped her out that fateful day!
