Sana has misgivings about staying in the Magius. Felicia on the other hand wishes to stay a little longer to find a means of avoiding become a witch.
As they are about the discuss the issue further, they are interrupted by an announcement stating the start of operation Awaken Embryo Eve. What does this mean?
In the midst of this Tsuruno approaches in a somewhat trance like state with her colours changing in quick secession and her repeating the same words over and over. What has happened to her?
Returning to Iroha she makes a move towards the Hotel of Faint Hope on her own as she doesn't want her friends to suffer on this journey. She is stopped by Kuroe who pleads to join her.
Cutting back to Sana and Felicia they make a chance encounter with Kyouko…
The brief reunion is cut short from what seems like a witch like monster and they all decide to leg it!
Dazed after that chase, Sana, Felicia and Kyouya are startled by what they see. A witch factory!
At that very moment, more details are revealed about Operation Embryo Eve.
As is usual the details are left ambiguous but the end game is approaching. The fear of becoming witch will apparently go. But you just know there is more to this than that.
Sana and Felicia meet up with Mifuyu imploring her to reveal more details about this operation but she simply deflects the question by bringing up the fact Iroha has been found.
Meanwhile Touka wishes to round up all the Magius who are not fully committed to the cause. Things seem to be heating up…
Witches from all over are descending into Kamihama city with Kuroe and Iroha lamenting the damage this will cause. Iroha finds it hard to believe how Touka or Nemu would do such a thing.
With a heavy heart Iroha remains steadfast in meeting them just to hear what they have to say and quickly finds an entrance!
Unfortunately, she is blocked and ambushed by the Magius!
The girls fight and Kuroe powers up into her magical girl form!
Kuroe staves off the attack allowing Iroha to escape and find Nemu but what is the fate of Kuroe?!

Kuroe continues to the fight the Magius
But just as it seems Kuroe is on top of things a mysterious figure appears before saying: have you forgotten about me? This leaves Kuroe stunned…
Felicia and Sana question Mifuyu further about the fate of Iroha and operation Awaken Embryo Eve. After a moment of hesitation Mifuyu finally admits she regrets how events have transpired…
The two girls implore Mifuyu that is not too late to undo things and then ask about how Tsuruno is doing. She reassures them she still lives and promises to bring her back to the villa.
Meanwhile Iroha continues to search for the Hotel of Faint Hope and finds a entrance.
Before opening the door Iroha recalls clear memories of her younger sister.
Yachiyo stumbles on Madoka, Sayaka and Akemi. She describes how the Magius are luring witches into Kamihama city. She explains that Magius idea to free magical girls from becoming witches is all a ruse to fulfil their secret nefarious goals. But what hidden goals can this be?
At that very moment Iroha gives Yachiyo a call explaining that more and more witches are congregating in Kamihama.
As Iroha is explaining things in more detail the line cuts off… Yachiyo then discusses with Madoka, Akemi and Sayaka what they should do next.
Mifuyu confronts Touka and tells her that there is still time to minimise the collateral damage from her operation. Touka remains steadfast in her plans however stating that magical girls shouldn’t have to sacrifice themselves just for the sake of humanity.
Mifuyu tries to get Tsuruno on her side but this proves to be futile…
When Mifuyu comes too she is met by Alina. Whilst siding with the Magius it would appear Alina has her own distinct goals but what would they be?
Yachiyo grabs a car with Madoka, Akemi and Sayaka all hopping in. Akemi then pops the question about whether the great witch; Walpurgisnacht will appear in Kamihama city. You just know what that means…
The scene switches to Iroha and Kyoko. Kyoko wants to know if Iroha was really going to charge into the castle all by herself. To make life easier for Iroha she offers her a Magius outfit and promises to lend her strength.
Sayaka and Madoka take the rear-guard attacking witches and all seems to be going well until a mysterious Magius girl comes whirling by…
Disaster is averted by the quick actions of Akemi…
Further ahead Iroha foolhardily attempts to go through the castle’s front door on her own. Luckily for her, Kyoko saves her from calamity.
Kyoko suggests a retreat but Iroha is not phased over what just happened and vows to force a way through much to Kyoko's bemusement.
Kyoko agrees and they break a hole through the wall! This unexpected development leaves Nemu and Touka gobsmacked!
After a few heart-warming moments with the girls reuniting they are confronted by two surprise opponents. Another cliffhanger!
