Despite the massive onslaught from Yachiyo, Tsuruno remains standing!
A dejected Yachiyo realises their massive connect attack failed. Things are not much better on the Kyoko end either…
Touka is positively furious at the damage those girls dished out on Tsuruno!
Gals, round two connect?
Yachiyo says no…
In what is seems to be reminiscent of the final Neon Genesis Evangelion episodes we see Yachiyo and Tsuruno giving some monologues. Sorry folks I can’t make out much more from the scene as Yachiyo and Tsuruno forget their subtitles!

It would seem Iroha is in the memory museum and is witnessing events that may have transpired in the past. First it is the recreation of Meru’s fortune telling.
Then we get a scene when Tsuruno gets a call from Yachiyo.
Iroha watches with bated breath…
Yachiyo wants Tsuruno to join in a witch hunt but Tsuruno has to duck out on account her restaurant is mad busy! The scene draws with a sombre Tsuruno who seems regretful over turning down the invitation...
Sombre turns to despair when Tsuruno learns that Meru died due to the witch they hunted. She blames everything on herself…
This time it is Yachiyo who is the one full of regrets as she mentions Mifuyu’s disappearance.
Vowing for no repeats, Yachiyo tries to take the burden of responsibility all to herself… Tsuruno meanwhile feels like a useless third wheel…
This strokes her flames of determination as Tsuruno vows to be the strongest magical girl!
She proves her might by fighting various witches and shows some promise in her quest to become strong!
But despite the happy go lucky façade lies a girl who struggles with extreme self-doubt and her need for acceptance…
Things do not get better as the girls’ huddle around Meru just as her life is about to expire!
Tsuruno sees her death first hand!
Iroha desperately tries to comfort Tsuruno but it is all in vain…
With her will broken, Tsuruno joins the Magius in her quest to get stronger.
Yachiyo and Iroha are suddenly flung back into reality! Did that connect attack link their minds together?
Just to hammer this point home Tsuruno says in a mechanical voice that she is the strongest girl in the land!
She charges at the girls with incredible speed!
Speaking of hammers, Felicia joins in on the action and says straight up that Tsuruno is not as strong as she thinks it is!
Her cut throat remarks are not just limited to Tsuruno. She also blasts Yachiyo for pushing people too hard…
Iroha asks if they should start another connect attack. Yachiyo is clouded with doubt and regret but Iroha comes back saying this could be an opportunity to change things for the better!
The girls regroup for another attack…
But Tsuruno will not let up the attacks!
Felicia and Runa team up and they manage to catch Tsuruno once more! Whoop whoop!
Yachiyo and Iroha join forces in body…
And mind!
Before the almighty attack connects with Tsuruno! Did it work?
It worked! IT WORKED!!! Tsuruno is back!!!
Understandably the girls are over the moon with this! Tears of joy!
Positively beaming by what just happened Madoka and Sayaka join forces to bring Mami back!
Kyouko tells the girls to crack on as the shields will not be able to contain her. Sayaka launches her attack whilst Madoka watches nervously!
The decisive blow is struck!
And Mami has been set FREE!!!
With the main obstacles removed it is now a matter of entering the tower. Iroha and Madoka connect!
And ATTACK!!!
The girls tend to Mami and Tsuruno.
Yachiyo apologises for what she did to both Tsuruno and Felicia.
Yachiyo thanks Momoko and Mifuyu for their invaluable help. They then share a wholesome moment together.
Kuroe makes a miraculous escape from the Magius...
And just as she sees Iroha her doppler suddenly surfaces…
Her gem is corrupted!
It seems like the worst will happen…
The girls rush to the castle but only Iroha manages to gets in!
Iroha greets a surprised but furious Touka!
Touka maintains that all her actions are for the sake of the magical girls!
She takes the high ground and attacks with her umbrella!
Nemu breaks up the fight before it can start.
