Synopsis: A new Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kaku anime based off the short story "Higurashi Outbreak". Set in the same Hinamizawa village of the previous strories, the village has been completely sealed off due to a mysterious virus in 1983, Keiichi Maebara and Rena Ryūgū deal with the outbreak.

Pretty much long stroy short if it truns out to be more than just the one full length OVA I might split this topic.

Although this is pretty much a story where K-1 and Rena have to deal with people showing signs of the Hinamizawa Syndrome from what they synopisis is saying. From what I can tell this might be kind of your typical zombie outbreak survival story here with the higruashi regualrs.

thanks ^^ I think is better to wait in case they release more episodes just like may happen to 'Mirai Nikki: Redial', which most likely is the finale of that series with Yandere Queen living happily ever after but who knows if it'll continue :/... ok finally that new killer loli movie-length OVA is subbed (they took a long time like with redial) and telling by the ending, maybe it's a cliffhanger for upcoming sequels but as it's not confirmed yet don't split it into a new thread until then

Pretty much after seeing the Outbreak OVA it pretty much goes to show that even if Rikka manages to escape the Eternal June Prision it only meant she just delayed the inevitable it would seem.

More or less it seems similar to your typical zombie apocalypise story with this one. Granted it was more along the line of being indepth with what the real virus was all this time.

In any case it was nice to see how Rena and K-1 can actually tag team anyone that gets in their way it would seem here. Not only that but seeing how Satoko managed to get caught like that only made me think about someone commenting on how she made a good damsel in distress here.

In any case it seems like Rika more or less took the whole Bernkasel look at this and pretty much thought it might be for the best that she'd do it all over again, but managed to be rather cryptic as to why she had to stay behind as well here too.

Satoko goes full tilt into yandere mode showing no mercy for her object of "affection". She also has incredible acting skills that are worthy of an Oscar! But make no mistake, there is no mystery in this show in any sense of the word. This series is straight up violence and gore which you should watch in a laid back fashion. The plot, if you can call it one, will make your head hurt if you think too much about it so thinking less is best for Sotsu. Just enjoy the ride as Satoko truly goes off the deep end...
