what do you mean by the formatting being completely screwed up? what does it do to your page? and one more thing - do you just copy and paste the embeded code onto your page?
They should be in line with the text above, not over on the left of the screen. It does even worse things to my main page when there is a post with an embedded video in it.
Yes, I do just paste the embed code.

Never mind, figured it out. Apparently the problem lies with the Wordpress visual editor not supporting certain tags in the embed code. If you paste and save it in the code editor the problem never occurs.
