So far only some subbers called devil's lair and Hauu~ have subbed the episodes. They're really really really new subbers and still seem like they need some practice, so you may want to wait a bit for another subber (unless you're really that impatient), at least, that's my opinion.

Eh? I just mentioned those subbers subbed it so far. I'm waiting for Shinsen or possibly Otacon to sub it, so I actually don't have it (don't remmeber saying I did have it anyways), sorry if there was a misunderstanding there.

EDIT: I'm going to try Hauu~'s subbing. I'm gonna do a comparison to see how it compares to Shinsen (I was only told that their subs weren't as good), so I might be able to upload it, unless you want to download it from FTV's server.

wtf a license expiring for an anime that ....I dont even want to think about it. I dont even have to check though if it license or not if you said it expired in 2006 which most like impossible confirm it is license. so we cant tell you where to get it.
 
Well you can buy the dvds of it on normal american sites, so it´s licensed. Sorry but you have to look for yourself since we can´t help you with that.
 
Kansa.....Hokuto Master is right about the licensing being expired currently...Orange Road (is brillant oldskool rom-com)...hence, its unlicensed and we sjould help him out. Personally, I don't know where to get it.......I watched it many years ago.

Well but JCD you can buy the dvds with english dubs at for example amazon etc... and the release date of the dvds was around 2003, so how can it be not licensed? And I haven´t heard that a license for a anime have expired before, I mean 2003 isn´t that long ago.

It was licensed over 10 years ago and in 2006 it got expired.

As DVDs are available, I think support should still be given to the company's. Although I see on ANN that the license apparently was lost because the company couldn't renew it. So while I personally don't think links should be given out on the forum, there is nothing stopping users from contacting each other in private.

This is rather a unique situation ... I think. You don't often hear about a license expiring. (If another mod has a different opinon, feel free to share it)
 
That´s the first time I have heard something like that....hmm maybe we should update our rules a little bit

I believe that it should be okay for sharing these files as long as it remains unlicensed. More recent examples of this situation are with Xenosaga: The Animation and Tales of Eternia.

Specifically Xenosaga, the license I think was originally by either Bandai or Funimation, so all torrents, links, etc... were removed. However, the license disappeared and animesuki re-hosted it again until it was re-licensed by ADV recently. So, I say until the license reappears, the file should be okay to share.

Regarding DVD in stores, there are probably a limited amount since if the license was dropped, they are not allowed to reproduce any more because they don't hold the rights to it any longer.
