Anime/Manga/Game Identification Thread

Ah I know that one. It's Angelic Layer. Unfortunately it's licensed so I can't tell you where you might find it. I don't know how good the english dub is but the japanese audio of it was really good. It is a really good anime though.

Basic story:
After coming to tokyo a girl sees two dolls that look like angels fighting on a screen on the side of a building. She really takes a liking to one of them and decides to try it herself. She acquires a doll (which comes in an egg) and 'hatches' it. These dolls are controlled with a persons thoughts and can only move when placed on a device called a 'layer' which is basically a table that radiates energy to the doll. She then enters a competition where you use the dolls to fight your opponent and meets up with a scientist who helps her along the way.

There are 26 episodes in the show I believe.

I don't remember how well the dub was either, that was when I first really started getting into anime, and boy am I glad I did.

im not too sure myself but judging from the link path I say maybe Nana although im not certain since i havent watch Nana. I believe there was a show call Nana hummm lol....

Your right its nana, that's Nana Osaki. There is a magna and a 47 episode anime.

One of them was Happiness
1:43 was Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha
after the nanoha one was magikano like someone meantion

I believe I see one was Pretty Cure im not too sure since I havent seen that yet and some of those series are already license.

Of course near the end I believe that was Sailor Moon lol...
At the end was Shakugan no Shana

there was one more I think I reconize but I havent watch that one yet either so I cant recall it easily which was the one with the chibi girls lol...

... but the first set of girls looked like sailor moon but i have a weird feeling that it was not from it ( reconized the last 3 or 4 ... and they are realy sailors moon ) but if u look at the first girls they have different clothing style from sailor moon and their weapons to ( but its just a hunch cose i havent seen sailor moon since i was like 10 years old so my memory chould be .... playing tricks on me

)

i am realy interested about the 2 girls ( the ones dressed in black and white ) that are probably fighting up on top of that construction site ... and the skater girl from the beggining ( i kinda get a weird feeling that is similar to kaleido stage and if it is its gona become a must see very soon for sure

) ... the school girl ( 0:55) looked interesting to and im curious about that one as well ... and the skater girl from 1:25 to 1:31 is getting to me to ... tbh this amv made me wonder about a lot of the animes in it ...


ps . try and point from where in the clip you reconize stuff

its easyer for me to understand to then to search for the names of the series and pictures to see wich one is wich ...

From 1:30 - 1:38 is Dai Mahou Touge (the short-haired blonde in the red skirt flying and fighting). I loved this. Funny, quirky, unique, good art and decent ecchi. You can't tell anything about the show from this clip, BTW. A few OVA eps and some specials.


2:36 - 2:49 - This Ugly Yet Beautiful World - just rented it, can't comment yet, but good ecchi and somewhat interesting so far.

Hi. I'm trying to find an anime I watched as a child.

All I remember is that it was about an animal town.

I remember there were raccoons, and I think a rabbit teacher...

There was also a train station I believe..


I looked it up and I knwo for sure it isn't 'Animal Crossing'


Any help would be great.

The reason why no one replied is because they probably have no idea.

The stuff look more like fanart rather than from an anime itself.

yea .. that is probably the reason ... and by looking at them i have the same opinion about it ... they seem fan-made ... the SB is either the name of the anime / name of the character ... or the nick/name of the guy who made it ... and even if its from a anime its fan-made for sure ... so its a bit harder then a actual picture from a anime ( SS ) cose fans tend to mend the looks ....

edit : the second picture ... dunno reminds me of gantz ... one of the 2
