Finished S3.... this is actually a pretty good anime in this genre.... other than those moments in which the opponents want to talk a bit before their final attacks... Silly, but everyone does that... so it's hard to complain too much... and in this one, those scenes aren't every episode.... so...

If I remember correctly, the All for One 'bad guy' wasn't directly involved in that S1 finale, but his 'trainee'... which I think All for One wants to take over.... up to S3 ep 10 that I saw, All for One wasn't directly involved... on the scene... ep 9 might have had his trainee bad guy group...

On ep 5... I can see what everyone means about using every tool of the genre.... Green Lantern parallel just showed up.... but not in a bad way... as it provides background for the situation rather well... and fast, since the viewer already knows it from the others... so far, it works... reminds...

Finally caught up with S2 ep 12... one more to go to finish the season... the story got a lot better as I said above after they finally added some drama into the storyline to separate it from the original... and they even used that when explaining the difference in the competition ... how some...

Interesting.. ep, #8 has finally introduced the drama of reality.... getting no votes, how the contest has changed etc.... the pain on which to build stronger, better characters... finally something... setup for quite a while for later affect.... the dubbed VAs are a little screechy at times...

I prefer the more real idolmaster over the love live fantasy stuff, but the song and dance shows usually work if the songs aren't too bad. I can see why they keep putting them out.

Just watched the 2015 Pixar animated film "Inside Out"... surprising very well done... not the animation, nor kid focused storyline, but the way the story is told through the 'emotions' portrayed by characters that interact... I never heard of it before... but the box office was rather good...
