Dammit Gerards evil side came back. Now Natsu is in a real pinch. Ok now everyone is in a real pinch. After all they now arent only short one person they have one enemy more.
I wonder what will happen now. He cant fight both all alone. Even one of them could be enough for Natsu.

Not totally sure about Gerard being completely evil again.......I think something happened when Erza was saved in the previous arc.....something between Natsu and Gerard.
I thought Natsu lost his arm for a second near the end of the chapter when he went head-on against Zero's attack with his fist attack.

Again a great Chapter with an awesome Natsu. Especially the line "The Mages of Fairy Tail are already used to sin" was just great. Now Zeros getting his ass kicked.
But somehow Im a bit dissappointed that Gerards evil side didnt come back. But Im sure that it will happen sooner or later.

I have to say that last four chapters or so have really been amazing and the newest chapter has set new heights for this manga.
would not be surprised if "cats" are actually the dragons in "different form" or are somehow related to the dragons.
The whole development with Mystgun is REALLY interesting. and opens up a lot of possibilities.
Not to mention that we yet again get hints at dragon slayer magic influencing the fates of dragonslayers.
No what I think is that Gerard's Mystgun's face is the same face as one Zeref had and them all being powerful people would really connect a lot of plot points.

But I had thought that we get to see Natsu running off to fight that Black Dragon rather than the story about that heavy rainfall.
My theory to this is:
The old woman who treated Makarovs injuries said something like a prophecy to Makarov (he stated that in 166) about the Dragon-Slayers. So maybe the world cant take the power of three Dragon-Slayers at one place so it tries to destroy them thus the heavy rainfall and what Mystogun said the annihilation of the town.
But why is Mystogun the only one knowing that something happens? As a guild everyone should be aware of that problem, what ever problem it is. I mean its pretty stupid to let Mystogun handle it alone. We see to what led that right now.
And I think Gazille is just interpreting too much in Wendy and Natsu having a cat but he himself not.

Hmm thats certainly a good idea. After all in Rave Master there was a different world too so why not here.
Hmm but why doesnt he even try to save the Fairy Tail members? Because it looks like his mission is to defend them, so he should not just give up.

I'm excited about next week's chapter! I wonder how hero vs villian ( aka Natsu vs Mistgun) is going to play out!

Here is my prediction.
God Slayer is pretty much just a stronger Dragon Slayer. Natsu will end up mastering this tenchinque. Just like God Slayer is a lost tehcnique, so is Dragon Slayer.
I am going to assume Dragon Slayer was created ages ago by mages so they could defeat dragons, but once all the dragons were dead. The remainiung ones went into hiding. Then Dragon Slayer was lost since there was no need to slay dragons anymore.
The only remaining knowledge of dragon slaying was kept by the dragons. The only reason qhy they can teach that technique now, unless they have a lachcria or whatever it is called.
I just honestly think God Slaying and Dragon Slaying have way to many similar properties, so to me God Slaying is just a level up from Dragon slaying.
Of course I am slaso a little drunk, so like sorry for the misloleeds and whatever

Well, that would sound logical, although I think that God Slayer is something Hades came up with on the spot. I mean, if God Slayers really existed they would have enough power to take out Zeref (well, he's close do godness anyways) and since gods as such in FT don't exist (so far!) I could assume that Dragon Slayers are still the strongest slayers out there.
Natsu is rather young, we've seen him synchronize with dragon magic by injecting scales into his physical body and therefore becoming truly powerful (he did knock out Zeref's incarnation after all) so no wonder there might be some slayer being several levels above him...
Besides, like I said - dragons do exist in FT world (or existed?), gods... not so much. I think that if they said DEMON slayer I would give it more credit.
Just a thought, totally out of the blue... Do you think there's something between Erza and Natsu? Or might possibly be? I can't get that scene out of my head where Natsu nearly got killed just to rescue Erza from La'cryma. I sincerely doubt he would do as much for Gray...

I dont really think that Dragon Slayers can actually kill a Dragon. I think its more on the line of giving humans hope since they think it works. And the Dragons probably left the world since there are too many humans now who fear them and that makes it impossible to live together. So instead of annihilating humans they got to another world.
I dont think God Slayer is an upgrade of Dragon Slayers. Its just a name vor a fighting style nothing more. Or something similar to a Dragon Slayer. I think Dragon Slayer only upgrades into stronger Dragon Slayer up to becoming something like an Avatar of a Dragon. Maybe the guy Natsus fighting is a Dragon Slayer and says all that just to demotivate Natsu. Or because he was told so by Hades.

Erza lost all her friends when she was young and Natsu his parent, Igneel. And yes I think he would do the same for Gray or Lucy or Happ or someone other from the guild.

Hmm, Natsu x Erza... Well, I kind of know what you mean and sincerely have nothing against Lucy in this aspect, but I do hope that something between the two mentioned will eventually ignite there. They sure fit one another.

It seems we finally get to see some background about Lucys mother. And with her beeing a Spirit magician its not a surprise that Lucy is that strong.
But why does Goat hate her so much? Probably because she died and left him alone, what seems to be a petty reason, but for people who admire someone its a pretty big issue.
And firing Etherion again would just power up Natsu another time ^^

Wont work like that. Natus CAN'T "eat" the etherion beam. he could the energy and magic type it had once it was inside the lachryma tho. Unless hades somehow brings out a lachryma size of the tower of eternity, Etherion will just leave a huge hole where the island used to be.
