I just started watching Captain Earth, it's always nice to watch a mecha anime from BONES. It's only going to be 25 episodes long so I wonder if the story will be wrapped up in a 2-cour series even though we really don't know what direction this series is going to take. Momo is cute despite being on the other side and Akari's Belly Button Forte was comical. I wonder who Akari's mother is?
Who Akari's mother is? Were you asleep during episode two/three, Capitano? Her mama happens to be the Commander of that big ship in the sky. Go back and watch that part.
The belly button foreplay was a big silly piece of sh**. I mean I am no Mecha fan but do love Bones...the story is so-so/okay, but was that silly piece of fan service really necessary?
I mean, gee whilikers! Well, at least you are watching this one and I can tease you lots with it since there is some great trolling material to be had beginning with the bishie bad guy with the great bod and even greater hair!
How ironic it has become ... a one man show.

I just watched Black Bullet, which was quite entertaining, I didn't think it would be like Gunslinger Girl. I hope that Shogen guy dies in the next episode, that's dreadful that he made Kayo do such a thing...I wonder if a Promoter can have more than one Initiator??

Lol, I actually don't think that's her mother, I think her mother is someone else entirely. All I know is her mother is called Tsubaki.
Humm...I think my Margarita was really spiked the night I watched episode two/three where I swear, I thought Akari-belly button-chan implied the C........... was and is her mama. Daddy was sure squirming too.
Meh...we will find out soon enough but I ain't really gonna care since I got my eyes glued onto the bishie bad hot bod boy.
Momo is a cliched, run-of-the-mill, rehashed villiness one sees quite often and always with way too big a pair of knockerettes! I mean how does one kill one's enemies with a pair of those lookers?
Have fun watching everything you get your hands on, Capitano and I stand by what I said!!! Run-of-the-mill with the exception of a few...but that's just my much loved humbled anime opinion!

I like the overall positive feel the story has, but at the same time it feels so generic, with a more competent Team Rocket and the usual batch of shounen child savior-pilots, ridiculous Hacking GUIs, and untrustworthy adults.
On the other end of things, No Game No Life has amazed me and is my current pickup favorite of the season. In the first few minutes I was thinking "oh god, accel world?" and then it cut to Sora and Shiro quadboxing and I couldn't help but laugh. By the time Shiro was sitting there, wearing all the bandits' clothing, I was hooked.
I'm really curious to see what the story on that one becomes, with Sora's decision making processes and the "Don't underestimate Humanity" theme to his attitude. A shame we don't have a thread for that one!

I just started watching Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin (aka Nanana's Buried Treasure) and I absolutely love it, it's just said that there's only going to be 11 episodes for it though. The light novel only has 7 volumes and it only started in Jan 2012, I'm already wondering how this series will come to an end, I really like all the characters but I'm not fan of the trap character.
Norren, I agree with you, there's quite a few shows that should have threads for themselves because I'm sure there are ppl watching it and wanting to discuss it here rather than at MAL, which I find crowded most of the time.

I just watched the latest episode for Black Bullet and it's pretty damn epic. Rentaro is pretty badass with synthetic limbs, reminded me of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The corrosion rate is a pretty sad aspect of the series and it was sad to see Rentaro having to kill the young Kayo. Damn Enju is already at 42.9% and she's been "corroding" ever since she was born but only corrodes more when she uses her powers....well, I think that's the case. I wonder what corrosion rate she's at in the light novels?

Haikyuu!! however is just brilliant and incredibly fun to watch. I hope they make that spin-off of Haikyuu!! and Nisekoi as an OVA in the future.

Episode 06 was good, nice to know that Kaori's memory reset is more or less to do with baggage concerning an important friend from her past, I wonder who the culprit is?
I'm not sure if the anime is following the manga but I'll be reading it soon to find out.

Sailor Moon has been licensed! All 5 tv series + 3 movies + several specials.
Viz will start releasing it in the latter part of this year and will relatively shortly begin streaming at least the first season on Hulu. It's even getting an entirely new, uncut dub to go with it.
I know there are a huge amount of people that Sailor Moon was a big gateway drug, so to speak. I remember watching some of it on Toonami back in the late 90's when it was airing, but I never really kept up with it. Mostly due to the social stigma of a 5-8th grade boy watching a cartoon ostensibly made for young girls. But I'm 26 now and social stigma's be damned. Will definitely try this out on Hulu and even potentially buy the Blu-ray/DVDs when Viz releases them.

Just watched the latest episode of Black Bullet, it was pretty damn good but it always brings you down when you remember that characters like Enju will eventually die as cursed children unless a miracle drug is produced to get rid of the "gastrea" out of them. I honestly thought there would be a thread for Black Bullet here.

I've always wanted to try watching Sailor Moon but I don't think I can watch it in dub though.
Well if you don't want the dub, the subbed version of the first season I believe goes up May 19th. Though I'm not sure what regions Hulu works in. Does it work in the UK (I'm assuming your still there)?

In any case aside from the MAName that is currently airing the only other series that I really like so far would be No Game, No Life. Simply put because Shiro is best loli this season, and Steff is best pet girl this season too.
Although I am watching that dragon riding anime, but mostly watching it for the fanservice anymore ever since the second episode.

Lolz still there, well I am British. I can get Hulu here using an add-on for Chrome but I haven't got Hulu Plus and I'm not sure if I can actually get one either.
I'm thinking of picking up more shows from this season and I wanted to know if the following are worth watch:-
Dragonar, Kamigami no Asobi, Blade and Soul, Akuma no Riddle, Selector Infected WIXOSS, Kenzen Robo Daimidaler, Kanojo ga Flag o Oraretara, Fuuun Ishin Dai Shougun, Escha & Logy no Atelier, Gochuumon wa Usagi Desuka?, Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san?
There are a few more from the current season that I haven't watched yet and haven't named above (like Date a Live, Love Live, Ping Pong, etc) but I've already downloaded the episodes for them and will be watching them soon. It's just the ones above, I've sort of avoided them and I am curious to know if they are actually any good?

I've either dropped or avoided all the ones you listed except for Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san. If that show was a full 30min tv series I'm not sure I would have stayed with it, but as a 3-4min short they're quick yuri-fun.
I know Love Live is supposedly very good, the premise sorta reminds me of Manabi Straight. I didn't know that Inu-Neko anime was a short one. I'm not really a fan of yuri and I don't think I've ever actually finished a yuri anime before, so I'm not sure I'm going to pick up Akuma no Riddle.
But yeah the ones listed are pretty much "left-overs" that I'm unsure whether to indulge in or not because I find it easier to pick one of them instead of marathoning another series from the past because I tend to take a lot of time choosing what to watch next.

Finally for Escha & Logy it's a good series, if you kind of know a little bit of the Atelier series. Also, it's kind of an interesting series since it focuses on the characters and story progression that the game more or less does, minus the grinding for XP and items.

Synopsis: Short anime film by Makoto Shinkai screened at the Nomura Real Estate Group's "Proud Box Kanshasai" home living exposition, which ran February 10–11, 2013, at the Tokyo International Forum.
also I just found the Anohana movie subbed today ^^ it's an epilogue which starts right where its series end with Menma's memories, overall i agree that 2011 is the last year when more great anime series were aired or released than these recent years...
