QUOTE (Norren @ Mar 12 2016,10:12 PM)cided to look at the Manga adaptation of this LN and oh LOL, that poor MC. His self-proclaimed girlfriend keeps floating back and forth between "We look like Riajuu?" and "riajuu should just die". She manages to sound like a Yandere while... not being Yan at alol her bipolarity is hilarious in ep.1, that catgirl deception scene even more

I thought i give this series a chance and the first episode actually was pretty funny. Hideki is pretty average but his marriage proposal to a guy in the game followed by the in-game marriage to Ako gave a bit more depth than expected. Akane and Kyo as his fellow adventurers was a nice surprise. Both of them being a male character in game combined with the stupid name for Akane sure made them interesting (but Akane probably not very smart...)
Ako is a bit of an airhead but something seems amiss. Her having no friends in the real life seems odd and her being way too clingy to Hideki makes it even more obvious.
Nice in-game scenes with their respective characters being way too talkative and unhelpful for Hideki were funny.
Seems like a nice simple anime to watch

Still compared to other series about people playing MMOs, i enjoyed their interaction in ep'2 becoming friends IRL as well

This is the first time I've seen a cast where I would literally choose ANY of the female characters and be okay with them in real life.

The only one that I absolutely COULDN'T date is Segawa. Too tempermental/angry, and built like a boy. BAD combination for dating. At least have a great personality if you aren't going to be "womanly"... The teacher - HOT, The president - HOT, Ako - HOT, Segawa's friend - HOT. Other than Segawa, the entire cast is Fan Service! (In my opinion. Yes, I know there are guys out there that swear that "flat chests are justice". I'm just not one of them. If it resembles, a boy's body lacking curves, then I'm not interested. But that is just me.)

All that said, these are glorified drawings, so it's all fantasy anyway, so why SHOULDN'T you pick what you like? It's not like I'd go after highschool girls in real life, so this is all for fun.

But this show has some serious potential. The president has a serious "Madoka Box" vibe going on! But she has a kind of Yozora-like social interaction dysfunction from Boku_Wa_Tomodachi_Ga_Sukunai. This could be fun!

Personally, I find it hilarious that the "I don't want to look like an otaku" Segawa is intentionally patterning her popular highschool girl image after the Rie Kugumiya Tsundere stereotype. In such terribad form that she'd immediately freak out if told.

This indeed was a fun second episode. Ako actually getting into the classroom and using their game names in front of everyone was really fun to watch. Even going further with the marriage thing to make it worse for Nishimura. That idea of making Ako distinguish between real life and game will probably not go so well with the president being involved. She really loves to tease and this gives a big chance to her. Until now all of them were similar in character between the game and in real life and that will not change soon.

Rusian's first crush ;p so, Ako isn't as stubborn about RL=game and Master on using premium items

Episode 3 was indeed a bit surprising in showing Nekohime and who she really is. It was somewhat predicable though when they mentioned that they didn't have an advisor and we got to see the teacher..
Ako may be more clever that she looks/acts. She got it right almost all the time. The best part however was again for the ingame part. Segawa with her leak of maximum power
smile.gif
and of course Kyo with her premium items.

Still liking the story overall, and I know that there is supposed to be suspension of disbelief, but I just have a REALLY hard time imagining that I as a parent would leave my:

* Ditzy
* Big-breasted
* Teenaged daughter

Alone and unsupervised for the spans of time that Akko's parents do.

I was a teenage boy once... I remember all too well how I would have reacted to some total buxom hottie suddenly wrapping herself around my arm and acting like we were married.

Sorry, but Rusian is either a eunic, or just dead below the waist. There is no danger of Akko turning out to be a middle-aged man since he's met her in real life. So the "trauma" of what happened with Nekohime has no part in the current events.

And yeah... Instant advisor. Just add water... LOL

After all she defeated Mahōka and SAO MCs beside Kirino, Emilia or Qwenther

Nice! Rusian with all those "aggro-damage" skits was seriously hilarious. Though it did get old pretty quickly...

It felt like the player was a SERIOUS Ako fan. Mune = JUSTICE! and all that. LOL

Sooo.... Does this mean if the cast of Queens Blade were against Ako, she'd lose to most of them?
blink.gif

Cattleya rules ALL!

Episode 4 was nice with the date and all. It is indeed pretty obvious who it is...to have the hint of her getting home quickly was a really big hint. Although why she is clingy to Nishimura is strange. Is she just happy he helped her and is friends with Segawa in secret? Ako's jealousy is going to be something difficult to deal with...
That Nekohime fan club is also really weird
smile.gif

You know when I saw the animation for this I was wondering why another Dengeki based LN/manga came to mind here. Still she is by far the best waifu for Rusian here, a little possessive but good never the less.

It felt like the player was a SERIOUS Ako fan. Mune = JUSTICE! and allol too bad he's only a Striker there (KOF anyone?), would be cool if Sega made him and Mune Master fully playable... I say Koko's Bouquet Hit is the most WTF o.0 to think Sette's user revealed herself, Ako wasn't as clever in ep.5 (MILF!)
biggrin.gif

What better way to help out Ako then to hang out with her at her home. Now I see so many doujins playing on the first time he enters her room with her mother's permission.
laugh.gif

also a fun ep'6 introducing his little sister, sette's Magical girl transformation too
Btw is this a doujin? from deviantart, it looks fanmade or could be the manga

QUOTE (Kid-Wolf @ May 6 2016, 12:21 AM)What better way to help outmandatory Beach eps with them having fun as normies? ;p also, no MMOs for 1 day but a hacker can't deceive Ako... remarrying Rusian after this Camp yet his RL confession didn't sway her, not to mention he's left outta ep.9 sleepover
laugh.gif

Well I finally managed to finish up Maifu MMO here and I have to say it was a rather fun series if you ask me. Overall it seems things ending rather well for them so they had something good to show at the culture festival here. I kind of wonder if there is going to be any more to this since it feels like there's much more story to go with here from my guess though. In any case if this does get a second season, then it'll be worth watching.
