Synopsis: A mecha otaku is reincarnated into another world as Ernesti Echevarria, also known as Eru. In this world, huge humanoid weapons known as Silhouette Knights exist. Dreaming of piloting those robots, Eru and his friends, Archid Olter and Adeltrud Olter, aim to become Knight Runners.

Knight's & Magic - An Overworked Programmer and GunPla/Mecha Otaku has a fateful encounter with Truck-san and is killed instantly
unlike Fuuka, in her anime ;/ K&M? 1st series I'll keep watching this Summer :)

Off to a good start here- they sped right through the most boring parts of the first book, and they're not focusing on every last single one of Eru's obsessive moments. (In the LN he's as bad about mecha as Mahouka's Miyuki is about her Oniisama)

Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

nice to know this xD but It's been a while since i watched good enough Mecha anime, epic ep.2 now that he stole-... piloted one for the first time better than pros, killing that Behemoth (genius programmer in his previous life After all):p

Addy is almost as obsessed on him until ep.4, but now with his new Silhouette knights and Gears getting perfected... its bad guys will likely wreck havoc soon yet rare to see way different mecha sizes, so Eru's next goal: a flying giant?

You're currently giving this series a 10/10? Is that score chart above on a running update?

i'm updating it every month ;/ aside nice music or cast up to ep.11, for me the best this season visually (2D+3dCG)... also now better story with EleonoraxKid, IsadolaxRys and a geek foe crazier than Eru xD Ikaruga vs wyvernmech next :d

Another Isekai/Tensei wish fulfillment fantasy LN, but this one's a little deeper than In Another World with my Smartphone. Kinda doubting the series will catch up to the translations
did it reach them so far? just 1 ep left finally Eru can't win and got angry, after being all happy'go'lucky trap up to #12... 'embedding Silhouette Knights into a battleship is a violation of the robot code' ;p you're right, better than isesma :)

This turned out much better than I dared to hope! Although was it just my source, or did some the studio somehow let an amateur with sony vegas take over the OP halfway through the series and stick a bunch of weird SFX and pathetic attempts at episode foreshadowing in for real?

It managed to sneak ahead, juuuuust barely. It dropped some stuff and rewrote the last two episodes to leapfrog 4~5 chapters into 2 episodes. I don't think the Anime team wanted to get into the flaming pile of exposition that was the Dragon's actual debut in the books-
in the books it showed up during a calm point in the war and trashed a castle on the opposite side of the kingdom from the Silver Knights Order, and slowly started eating it's way through the territory until they clashed at it on a defensive battle where the battle with Di and Swordbrain went down while Ady and Eru fought the Dragon to a draw. That whole thing with the Magius Jet Thruster never happened in the book, instead the Dragon made Eru chase it into Space where the increased Aether density forced him to abandon pursuit or die of a fatal mana overdose. (Or something like that? I have to admit I wasn't paying close attention to the technobabble because I was laughing at the fact that Knights' & Magic's version of space is the Luminiferous Aether.)

There was almost an entire chapter of War Disposition Narration where they discussed and argued about what was going on before, and then another one AFTER the first clash with the Dragon.

The current scanlation chapter ends off with Doroteo activating the Dragonblood Reactor, so we'll find out shortly how the anime handled the final battle. I have a sneaking suspicion that they ran out of time and we missed out on a third of the battle, but this is a book about Eru's hobby- it's distinctly possible that multiple nobles will be excuted off camera while he plays with his lifesize GunPla. ;)
