Btw, I went to this event... and be thankful you didnt - it was the worst expo i have ever been to.

They wanted full price unless it was after 4pm entry - and they wouldnt sell an after 4pm ticket until 4pm on the dot, then you had to walk the entire length of earls court twice in their queing system - even tho there was no queue - just to end up at the place you started at.

Half price was £7. The expo was tiny, and half of it charged extra for the food or saki areas (and you still had to buy the food as well). Total shambles, never going to one of their events again.

It wasnt all bad in that I bought a few box sets and 2 figures, so I was happy with that, although I'd see those sellers at other better events.

It indeed sounds like they charged too much for what you get. Still if you could get things you really wanted it was worth the visit

Still if possible if you could go to a good Con then I'd recomend MegaCon in Orlando, FL for ya'. Pretty much it's at the COnvention Center in town for 3 days and usually has a lot of stuff to see and do. Pretty much they usually have the Dealer Room as not only thier main attraction, but the pannels, and people that show up as well.

Granted that a good Con I can recomend State side that happens to be kind of an end-all-be-all type of Con of course.

Usually it happens in February and they do pre-registering online for a 1-day to a 3-day pass of course.

Anyways sorry for slightly plugging another Con in your thread Maiku-dono I couldn't resist. Also, as long as you got what you wanted then I don't think it was all that bad. From what it sounds like it could of been ran a bit better if they didn't do the whole queing for things no one wants to que for and whathave you.

Sort of a side jab, what is it with brits and their fascination of queueing? I read a funny thing some time ago about a group of people going around london and forming random lines not explaining why....and people would join their line! That's crazy! My stepbro was amazed by their need for a formal queue for literally everything when he visited, and my step-uncle jokes about it from his years there. What gives?
