Kishin Taisen Gigantic Formula

Animation aside, the story telling and character development in this series is actually quite well written. The bond developing between Shingo and mana is better than I expected. And I also like how the winner is picking up the armaments of the loser.

It is also interesting how heavily it borrow from Greek mythology... but the mismatches can make it awkward some times, like the shield reflection has nothing to do with Hera .

Yeah true,true....KTGF is good (even though I only watched till episode 5..) and I taked a look on the latter episode and noticed that the charac design considerably changed from the 5 first episode or so,now it's more mangas like, not the real look they wanted to imbue the character with in the earlier episode...right the shield reflections don't have anything to do with Hera,it's in the battel between an ancient Greek Hero (forgot the name ...) and Medusa (I think it's the mother of the gorgone),how the Hero reflected the petrifying gaze of medusa with a Mirro Shield and killed her....

Anyone know why Lunar stopped halfway through the season or why not even one other group has tried to fansub this? I thought Lunar was usually more reliable.

There are some series out there that have three groups or more crawling over each other to be the first to release an ep, and yet nothing on this great show. I think there are only 4 more eps to air.

Lunar seems to be on halt right now. Don't quite know what's going on. Their last release was about 5 weeks ago.

It sounds so lollers when they get nippon natives to phonetically sound out the lines of the american characters ^_^
(but prolly not to the native audience, I know.)
all those inappropriately-placed pauses and inflections..
so wonderfully, authentically atrocious.

luckily those lines are subbed too so it's all good.

22 sub was released last week (downloaded but haven't had time to watch)

As for the raw, I found the Q-R ones from Tokyo Toshan and those links still work.

Well, for those of you still interested, Lunar is back and episodes 23 and 24 are available as of today. Yay, two more to go!

I will be happy to revisit this anime, it took me a while to get into it, but fore sure, this series has hooked me on some level. It's lucky I can be very patient, but hey, I'm happy it's available at all!

yeah, i've been waiting for subs on this; the RAWs were a pain to find back then but i think i'll just go ahead and finish this series... i was at around episode 21 and stopped, but the story is killer so i gotta finish to see who dies (if anyone does)
