QUOTE (senpai-kun @ Feb 09 2007, 09:26 AM)
samthebear Basically when I was a junior i was taking a class with only seniors then the following year i took the same class as a pt. II, it was a class that peer mediated kids from lower grade schools around the town, and basically it just so happened that there were no other guys from my own grade that qualified for pt. II of that specific class...So it ended up being me and a whole bunch of girls. At first they acted very girly but soon that whole facade wore off and the way they acted around me...well i was shocked...things like i said i care never to remember...It was no harem in the making to say the least...so tragic...

And the whole All girl school well that's just a fantasy I actually know better but what the heck fantasies aren't usually meant to be real or based on logic...thus fly on the wall...

ohh i know how that works my brother's school gets stuff like that too with a neighbouring girl's school (no really the schools are just right NEXT to each other on the same plot of land and everything...)

Back to the topic...
@Xcouger, i really don't like how valentines day has just become one huge big comercial thing! like christmas or new years, i don't suppose you could just give your gf/bf a hug kiss and say 'i love you' on valentines day without comming off as cheap eah wink.gif like christmas; everyone expects something on christmas now (sad to say - even me sad.gif oh the horrors of comercialism...)

That's true. Valentine's Day has become too commercial. All I need is some chocolate and I'm good. I don't like jewelry because I rarely remember to wear it. I like clothes somewhat but my favorite thing is books. No one's ever gotten me a book for a gift though for any holiday. It's always something I'm not really into like jewelry or a dress (tomboy, don't wear them usually). Xcouger, are you going to get her a gift for Valentine's Day? Or are you going to exchange gifts. I think it's nicer to exchange gifts. There was a guy at work who bought all the girls who work there a rose. I think that's cool on jobs or in school, that way no one feels left out. Valentine's the only day where I used to feel bad when I was single, but now with this forum and being so busy I usually forget special days when they arrive unless someone reminds me. I'm happy about that! biggrin.gif

well all the singles can just stick together and make the best of the day ^^ or just totally forget about it (intentionally or not) and treat it as a normal day ^^" i usually just forget about it, it wasn't until i read the 'who would you date on FTV' thread then i remembered that it's FEBUARY!! and valentines day is comming up soon! >.< and the whole reason why i started this thread... here's another pro to add to being single - don't have to buy anything for anyone on that day where all chocolates/flowers/sentimenal items are just sooo expensive!! laugh.gif i thought it's really sweet of that guy to buy all the girls in the office a rose each ^^ such a nice thing to do ^^

@ Senpai-kun.. Check your p.m.
@ DSL.. It's just a warning.. We're not dropping anything down on Senpai-kun.. I just told him to "cut short".. not to "stop posting." wink.gif Sorry for the inconvenience
I'm thinking of taking her out to dinner and buying her something nice.. Valentines day means a lot to us in PY.. I'd like to give her anything, but I hope to give her specifically what she really wants.. An exchange would be cool too.. But I really don't mind if I don't I don't get anything in return.. I guess love is unconditional tongue.gif

---d'observer should stop doing spammings since no girls want you!!!!BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!KAPISH!!! mad.gif --[petitions signed by FTV's members.]--heh,I'm not that fond of bf/gf relationships anyway....who cares if no one wants me?I'm a lone-wolf anyway........AWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

That's actually a mere joke samthebear-san. tongue.gif I'm not that low in self-esteemed. wink.gif and in response to this thread, like I said,I'm single because I'm not really fond of this bf/gf things......in my country the youngsters there were stupid enough that they always ends up 'throwing away' their babies after giving birth to the child after having 'unsafe dry.gif ' sex and such.In this year only, there's about 3 cases of babies being 'thrown away' by their damn-stupid parents who after having that damn sex being ashamed of having a baby before marriage. In one of the case, they left the baby in a trash.....the innocent baby died.....CURSE them!! mad.gif
It's not that the Valentine's Day itself are bad......but lots of young couples in my country celebrating the day in absurd way(sex-party),so it's natural for me to avoid celebrating the day as I myself afraid that I would do the same like them. And that's is a great sin.I'm not really that good nor faithful,so,avoiding is better since preventing is better than curing. wink.gif

Being in a relationship means taking a risk, a risk can have a positive or a negative outcome, a negative outcome can get you into conflicts and complications, conflicts and complications when not handled well can result to misunderstanding, sadness and pain. I don't think I'm ready for those things yet, so for now, I'd like to enjoy my life as single, concentrating on my studies and spending time with my family and friends:lol:

i've kinda given up looking tbh,

there's this saying (well i think it's one tongue.gif ) 'love will find you'

if it's going to find me, why should i look for it?

looking for it might result in it not finding me

lol i get what you mean and i used to believe in that when one day i changed because of another saying!

Maybe go to school if the mood strikes but probably sleep in...After that send an unadressed Valentine & drug store bought chocolates to her...It's best she doesn't know who it's from...do restraining orders apply to just delivering valentines?...Maybe pull my car to the side of the road and watch her apartment for a while to see if she is going to go out with him...he doesn't deserve her...then later that night drink myself into a druken stupper on a cheap bottle of wine I can chug on for the majority of the night...half stumble dance around singing in veiled curses targeted at the demon lord's vengeance on me...and why it all turned out this way...You know the usual Valentine's day routine...why is it so dark in here...oh yeah I turned off all the lights...yes it's better this way...I sometimes have to remind myself that...you can't see the shame if there is no light shinning on it...but i see you...ph34r.gif

senpai-kun is a ph34r.gif !!!......just joking senpai-kun! laugh.gif half of it was just a mere joke.... tongue.gif But I'm like samthebear-san,I don't think anything special would occur during the day. It'll just be and end like everyday. wink.gif Yup!It's always been that way in my entire life. laugh.gif Nothing's bad about that,I tell you! laugh.gif

To be honest,we go through our life with the same routine, making everyday almost the same for us.There's only a few day that's special to us,and that's rarely happened. But even so,even most of days in our lives were of those that keep repeating the same routine over and over again,we can't find two that's definitely the same. And that's why, being alive itself is a great thing, for those who realized and want to realized how wonderful this lives is. laugh.gif But as some of us find or believe being different and special is vital for livings, event like this,Valentine's Day and such,is actually an attempt of ours to made those differences between each days of our lives even more visible,so that we could easier noticed that this lives of ours were indeed precious. laugh.gif --Yayy...I'm succeeded on spouting nonsense that I myself couldn't understand properly! laugh.gif In other words,I'm blabbing nonsense here! laugh.gif (is this an effect of not having any special girl for my 20 years of living..? huh.gif Scary....... ph34r.gif )
