That looks like the contesnts of an airport/museum Amnesty Box, if i ever saw one. Having to empty the ones around the FOB, and finding the craziest things, it looks familiar!

That's not completly true, it's just more guys are getting in front of cameras more so than the girls here.

QUOTE (Siegefox28 @ Aug 10 2006, 12:10 AM)Ahahahahahahaha~~~!!! Seriously. Why'd Anime-Addict have a girl avi display pic?
When I started using forums I thought the same thing, that people with female avatars must be girls... then I realised the truth ;_; The way I see it, for most people their pics are not avatars (ie. manifestations) but mascots, like people often keep on their desks (I don't do that kind of thing so maybe that's why I didn't understand).

Nowadays though I prefer to think of it as due to gender confusion as that restores some of the original fun...

Of course some of people with female avatars really are female... but it can be really hard to tell ... in one forum someone had a photo as an avatar and it looked like a typical webcam selfportrait so I thought for sure it was them, that they were a girl.. but it turned out everyone on that forum used avatars in an ironical way... which is cool too. If you think about it, even after all the pictures posted here, you still don't really know who is a girl and who is a guy, because they could have got those photos from anywhere....

Oh yeah! And who doesn't love female-anime-charactes with long-purple hair (any other color) and a sword in their hands-slashes enemies while the blood glushes OUT!! XD That's my kind of WOMEN. Well, not really, but at least they'd dont' cry when danger comes in their way... Or the enemies don't cry out in agony...! Babes like that have something in their past... ...That they don't wanna talk about. That's why they'd most of the time kept it bottle-up inside. (Sighs) ...Until they'd find some-one that they love or have a crush on, and tell that person how they finally feels. Sometimes I even wonder about anime-female-characters most of the time... ...Something about them doesn't sound right...? ^^ XD But, DAMN, they are HOTT!!! (About Female Avatars) Most of you need too tell us FIRST until you post anything about yourselve... That way It would come in handy to know, what and who, we are talking too. Thank you!

Um, megaman...
If you're a dude, then why do you have Leviathan as your avatar? Isn't Leviathan a girl? I mean Leviathan is my favorite from the Rockman Zero and I dig and all. I was just wondering. If you want, I can make an avatar of someone you may dig more so to help keep the potential confusion to a minimum.

1200 * 1600, that is big!
YOu remind me of a friend I had in college. YOu live in Illinois or Indiana?

Oh, that's really really far away from where I went to school.
Cool to know nevertheless. I'm starting to wonder how many countries our members populate.

The Setting - Inside our clamshell in Afganistan
The Reason - Trying to replace a Main rotor damper.

Normally you do this when the blades are on. You keep the Main Rotor head from turning by engageing the gust lock. You then have someone "lead" or "lag" the blade, meaning pull it towarrds the leading or trailing edge, so it flexes at the yoke where it attaches at the hub's elastomeric bearings. By doing that you increase the distance between the bracket and the blade so you can slip either end in. Think of it as shocks for the Main Rotor blades. Anyway its easy with the blades on. However when their off its another story....
