Japanese Ps2s

Is there any good sites besides Ebay where i can find a good, cheap Japanese PS2? sorry if this was posted in the wrong area...

Hmm... So I take it that they're not the same as the american's version... How is that possible? I mean shouldn't they'all be the same as the console manufacturer Inc. ...What's the differents?

The difference is that you can't play japanese games on a American PS2, i want a japanese PS2 so that i can play japanese games that aren't released on for the American ones...

The problem with Japenese VS English consoles is not the language. The language charecter set is a minor issue compared to DVD Encoding and Output. All overseas (Europe, Asia, Orient) DVDs and Games are designed around the PAL output format. At 576 lines at 25 frames per second interlaced versus NTSC's 484 lines at 29.97 frames per second. That and the method of actually transmitting the chroma (color) information is completely different also. - This may result in you not being able to use your Japanese PS2 at all, unless your TV supports PAL.
