So hey hows everyone doing. Just started my own initiative in my country. Wanted to share some info regarding it.
Heres the concept i had been working on, right now it is slated to become something more then just anime, community and related hobbies.
After hosting a couple of anime conventions, i got to know a lot of cool creativity people, artists, motorheads, musicians and others. What we all had in common was either anime, games, that particular geeky thing or just a want to do something other then the norm in our area;Which is study, get a job-any---get married and die...
It came to me one day, what was & is lacking in our time. A platform for creativity. Everyone has funky ideas once in a while, but they die down, either because people don't have the time, motivation or the resource. I propose a mutual benefit system where all this comes to light and is given a chance to succeed. One of the core group members posted this easy example-:

Its a creative solutions company looking for creative people.
Im in it as a music composer / sound mixer, if you have certain skills or talents ,join the MS forums! communicate with the people there.
The role of M.S is like Dr.Suresh’s role in the hit tv series “Heroesâ€. We are collecting people who have certain talents or “skills†(e.g, artists, musicians, tech gurus, car modding enthusiasts who actually know stuff, programmers, software analysts, animators, web designers, architects, graphic designers, cooks?! — ANYTHING! that classifies as a decent skill/talent)
Yeah so, the idea is to build a “pool†of creative individuals, who can unite under the “Metal Seinen†banner, & then, can be marketed to firms/organizations looking for specific people, for specific projects they
need outsourced.
Secondly, M.S also has some internal projects, the creative lot helps each other out in such projects for mutual gain. For example, this guy “Babrus Khan†is working on a Pakistani web comic titled “Eidolonâ€,
I , Saad Akhter, decided to make a soundtrack/instrumental
for his web comic as a small marketing campaign for Babrus’s brainchild.
What’s in it for me?
1) If the comic gains popularity after launch, i can add “made OST for Pakistani web comic†in my CV or Resume.
2) I can ask Babrus to make me a Reckoning Storm band mascot / or an album cover etc … (Like a barter of skills)
3) If my instrumental project gains popularity, Babrus
Khan can add the following statement in HIS CV/Resume,
“Made cover art & band mascot for local metal instrumental project - Reckoning Stormâ€
That example gives an idea of only part of what i am planning. Mutual Benefits which inspire creative projects, thus inspiring creative people to join in. With that, having resources available, we could divert them to local projects offered by individuals or organizations---given that we have the resource. For this we created:
The mutual benefit scheme which the initiative relies upon brings benefits to its customers, members and to the business itself. When metal seinen receives a project from a customer, the collaboration which comes forward to complete that project is reimbursed with monetary and growth benefits. For the customer, it allows the project to be completed by a creative team, the result being innovative and quality competent.
That was part of the business model, anyways- Iv gotten in touch with my own university and asked for a collaborative effort. What I got was interesting, I can now offer final year students projects which would dont require strict documentation etc. This allows students to have actual project experience which they can attach to their CVs and benefit from it.
So there you have it folks. Metal Seinen--where seinen means youth--Metal --basically took the rebellion term in it---metal music-etc.
