Based on the light novel series written by Okayu Masaki and illustrated by Torishimo.

Dokuro-chan tells the story of Sakura Kusakabe, a second-year junior high school student who sometime in the future is going to offend God by inadvertently inventing immortality. In addition, the women are affected so that they stop aging after the age of twelve, and Sakura is accused of creating a "Pedophile`s World". Dokuro Mitsukai, a member of an order of angel assassins called Rurutie, has been sent from the future to kill him. However, she also has the power to raise the dead. Believing that Sakura can be redeemed, Dokuro always brings Sakura back to life each time after she kills him - with her gigantic spiked tetsubo (club) she`s named Excalibolg - on a moment`s impulse. To add to the hilarity, Sabato, another assassin of the Rurutie order who uses her feminine wiles to do her jobs, is dispatched to complete Dokuro`s original mission: Sakura`s assassination.

Yes the series returns. Therefore, to add on to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, we have another killer loli show for the summer...well sorta...

Seriously? While I'm all for killer loli's, the diarrhea jokes in the first OVA turned me off this show 100%

But the opening was awesome. (People tend to think it's a joke and not a real series, for some reason )

MORE OF THIS SHOW?! This is one of the first few anime I dled here O_O! although there was only 8 ep but it was kinda amusing well looking foward for the new one then ^^

Awsome!!!!!!!!!!! I love the first season. Although it was extremely short, I enjoyed it nevertheless. Hope they make a better ending this time though~~

I saw the first season, for what it was worth, last summer along with two other short series: Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu and Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora. Of the three, I found Iriya to be the most satisfying and HanTsuki to be really really slow paced and boring. Dokuro-chan was a good time-waster right before I watched all of Excel Saga, and the OP is really good, if not just for the pure lulz. XD

I hope "The Sensitive Salary-man" makes a return.

Btw, the first two episodes didn't bring us anything new, BUT they led us to know that Dokuro and Zakuro are really...ahem, feminine How did they come to live all together?

Wow i was surprised to see the first and second episode of the second season of Dokuro-chan, and it was as funny as ever, I didnt even know it was comming. The only thing is they censored alot of the usual violence which i wasent to pleased about, Im a sick person you see . Can anyone translate what was said on the screen during the censoring please, ive got the screen shot here:

Does any one know how long it will be until the next episode is released?

Going to have to wait for dvd releases before we get to see this show in it's original uncensored glory , hopefully that won't take too long.

I don't mind if they only censored he gory part but never ... never ever censored the 'ahem' part.

The skies parted and the anime gods spoketh! and they said "Let there be uncensored Dokuro-chan Season 2!" and it was so... Philanthropy subs just released a dvd-rip of episodes 1 and 2. Lets us rejoice and bath in the red cell count.

I have worshipped at the temple of Philanthropy (never a truer name for a sub group, eh?!), made offerings and poured a libation in their honour.

Downloaded "Dokuro-chan II" last night, and it was better than what I was expecting. Improved character designs & animation, boffo laffs galore, and lotsa GORE!!! Just what we've come to expect from our favourite Angel of Death, eh?! And I can't help but feel pity for poor ol' poverty-stricken Sabato-chan - with those ram-like horns, I think she looks a sweetie!

And we've learned something else too - just as (in the previous series) if you remove an angel's halo (which is razor-sharp), it induces terminal diarrhoea, in this series fear causes an angel to emit extreme cold! Heh, just like Belldandy, does Dokuro or Zakuro become drunk if they have Coke?!

Havent watched this series yet but im interested on those comments about this series, so far how many episode this series have?

Can you please post a link to where I can purchase the DVD-R...I Can't find it on my own for some reason..
