Does anyone have any suggestions on good, free software to help with backing up files?

I want one that I could set to back-up certain parts of my computer on a regular basis, something like 2 weeks or so. I got a new portable 500GB external so I'm retiring my lowly 120GB external to solely be for backup of all the other files on my computer, be it pictures, music, work documents, school documents, etc, etc. Or does XP have a good one built in? I haven't really looked into back-up programs before and don't know if XP has any kind of application like that built into it or if it's any good.

It all depends on how much you want to spend or what kind of backups you want to do.

These are all free programs that will do the backup for you automatically at the scheduled date/time and may also allow for manually activating the backup process.

If you want something commercial try nero or acronis.
