Hi, I already have avi file of movie: Sex is Zero, and Who slept with Her, but there are no subtitle, I mean softsub.

Then, I would like to you guys help me with giving me a link or others ...

Thanx

I'm sorry, but I'm a newbie here ...

I don't understand your command = go to "Tools", what is tools???

Am I have to go to my control panel or what?

Thanx b4.

Wow. Run the insurgent program he told you to download then go to tools --> Media Information and pick that video. (tools is a menu in the program that he told you to get)

EDIT:
Just curious but is the video you have supposed to have subtitles or are you asking where to find some subtitles?

You download CCCP Insurgent. Then open CCCP Insurgent.

In the toolbar at the top side of Insurgent there's an option called 'Tools'.

You click that and then select 'Media Information' from the dropdown selection. It will now prompt you to pick a media file. Pick that video you are trying to get subs to display on. After it's done (a box will appear when done) click on Copy.

Then paste the results of that to your next post.

EDIT: Oops two posts in interval of seconds. Follow mine or langes01x's diagram on how to use Insurgent. Oh and this is all being done just to find out if this video even has subtitles to begin with.

Sex...hummm is this hentai..? if it is it against the rules to ask or request for hentai things.

he's not requesting or asking for hentai kansa. He simply has an issue with some video playback. He is not requesting or anything. You should look at the intent of that rule rather then the exact words. It was made to keep porn and hentai off this site, not hamper people's abilty to ask a compleatly innocent question.

From the way i read the post it looks like he's looking for subs for the video. it doesn't sound like playback problems as its an avi video and he said theres no subs, subs that comes with avi's are 99% hardcoded. Also he asked for soft subs and a link to get the subs.

The title sounds like a hentai video, so i think thread closed.

Hamasusuke: Changed topic title, in case of a misunderstanding.

I really dont see a playback issue only subtitle issue my only guess for that is turning on the subtitle but it not an mkv it an avi so if no sub not showing up that mean that show is only a raw unless there some codec problem.

Giving help on the avi if it do have sub to make it show or giving links to show what the problem is is ok but if that show is hentai giving link for the hentai to watch or dl is not ok.

Informative post:

avi _can_ contain softsubs. It's evil and dumb at the same time. But they can be muxed to avi.

Please nobody think that I am condoning softsubs in avi. I do encourage the usage of softsubs. But use matroska or even mp4 instead, please. kthx

I'm searching the subtitles of this movie, not wondering if there any subtitle for it.

How could I muxed softsub to avi, maybe with vobsub or other software?

I refuse.

Use matroska or mp4 instead. And this isn't a playback issue anyway, if you know there's no subs.

ok to make the question much clearer. is the subs in the file with the movie and u don't know how to use it? OR, were u looking for the subs somewhere, i.e. internet? please make ur question clear so that the people, who are very nice, could help u with ur problem.

He is looking for subtitles for the video (RAW) that he has. This is not a technical problem. Unfortunately I have never seen or heard of the show so I can't really help you locate some subtitles.

There are not very many groups that release the subtitles apart from the video so even if you did find some subtitles they would probably be rather bad quality. The best bet is to look for a file that already has the subtitles built into it.

Moderator's Note: Discussion regarding where to obtain anything relating to pornographic material is expressly forbidden in FansubTV’s General Rules. As it would now appear that gambit1982 is requesting subtitles for a movie which falls into this category, this topic has been closed.

Unlocked because neither films are pornos.

Sex is Zero

Who Slept With Her

But I will move this to Miscellaneous since this isn't a playback issue. And I have no idea if asking for subs for Korean dramas (both unreleased in US or any English speaking country I believe) is against the rules. Other mods can yell at me later if that is against the rules. (I don't see a rule but maybe it's because I'm too tired from working to read correctly)

I believe that I misunderstood the nature of the "sexual comedy" present in these films; however, upon further research, I did discover that Sex is Zero has been licensed by Panik House so information regarding where to download this film, or subtitles, cannot be provided. It can, however, be purchased from Amazon.

just a quick question... what exactly are soft subs? how different are they from the ones that we regularly download? how does it work?

i'm asking because i recently found out that the nodame cantbaile specials are actually out in soft subs, but i got confused as to how to run it.

Here's something from wikipedia... "Soft" subtitles or soft subs are subtitles applied at playback time from a subtitle datafile which is either mixed directly into the video file or in a separate file. An example of this would be mkv files. On the other hand, "Hard" subtitles or hard subs (the ones that we usually download) are encoded directly into the video (this can be done with a VirtualDub Filter). An example of this would avi files.

Well, biankita-san, you shouldn't be having trouble playing video's using soft subs provided that you have the CCCP codec pack or you are using the VLC media player. You don't really have to do anything special... But, when you are using VLC, you have to manually enable the subtitles though.

if the softsubs is in the file, you could download VirtualdubMod, open the file, go to stream list and highlight the subs and press demux. you will be prompted to insert a name and choose a location. after you have done so, convert the film, open it in VirtualdubMod again and open stream list. add the .srt you previously made.
goto file>save as and choose a name and directory.
VOILA!!!!
