Raped

In this thread I'd like to discuss about being raped... I have friends that have been raped and always feel uncomfortable talking about it... somehow... if the victim is a girl... how would it feel other than pain like if it was done to a boy?... pleasure... insecurity... fear... used... corrupted... pain...... This is a serious situation that is happening around our very neighborhood and could happen to any of us... what do you think?... what could we do to these sick people?... does raping really satisfies one's need?... I want to hear your voices about this topic...

I feel secure that this is appropriate since there is a porn thread up... It's also something we should be aware and think about... please follow rules as in no putting people down and etc... respect what others have to say

It is definatly an apropriate subject as long as, like xcouger pointed out, people follow the general rules. But I sincerely hope no one would even think of making fun or being dis-respectfull of such a situation.

But, xcouger-chan, next time you should start the discussion yourself by stating your point of view.

As for the question, I think wether the victim is a boy or a girl does not really change much in the feeling that person will feel.

Pleasure: I don't see how its possible. Personnaly I don't even see how the person raping get get pleasure out of it.

Pain: most of the time since you rarely encouter someone who is willing to be raped. So there will most likely be a fight.

insecurity & fear & corrupted & used : Those are more after affects. It would depend on the person. Usally there is fear and in-security at least for a period after it. But people can usally get over it. As for corupted and used, it would depend on the person as well.

The important part is to learn to continue to live with it after. Life needs to go on and fears must be dominated. It sure is not easy and it will be remembered all life long. But its important to realize that by acting afraid all the time, the person that "won" is the rapist. That is why its extremely important to not be afraid to prosecute that person if its possible and to not hesitate to get some help and support from people around. (in case people wonder where these ideas come from, I have a friend to whom it happend.)

And finally, yes it could happen to anyone, but its also important to not turn paranoiac. There are bad people out there, but there are also a lot of decent people!

well from first hand experance it does give you fear..... for a while i couldnt be alone let alone want to be around anyone . it also makes you feel disguested and make you wonder why did this have to happen to me . you also feel betrayed .. its just a all around hate ful situation. bold is right there is always a fight ... even when you know the chances of actually succefuly getting away you fight back. erm im just gonna leave it to that

I agree with everything they said...but I hav a little smthng to ask...rather a confusion u might say...but I hav to ask for ur opinion....

A few days ago I was having a chat with this guy on the net, and suddenly this topic came up....well he said he did it once...I'm a guy so I didn't act all freaked out and tried to show curiosity about why, who, how'd it feel (wrong or right)...just to make a conversation. Well the answers were not very clear and had some words I can't utter here...but the thing I had a fight with him over was that at a point he said that the victim enjoys once the process starts. In my institute we have a class on sex and confusion ....well, with all the knowledge I had I tried to counter him but in vain...his logic was always stronger...some of his logics were 'that's why victims at a point stops strugglin' or 'u havn't done it u wudn't know' or 'most rapes go unknown for that reason'. My confusion is was I wrong to counter him...is wat he said true??? If it is then it might b a vital reason for these filths gettin' so spread.

P.S: I tried to remain as sober as possible in this post....if anything I said is offensive I ask for everyone's apology.....

Raping I believe, causes extreme fear... what I've heard from a friend of mine is that while he was being raped by the age of ten multiple times... he never showed this to anyone... probably felt embarrassed or something... never got close to anyone cuz he was scared... I would be freakin scared and end up being screwed up and homosexual if someone raped me at that age... This guy would've too but he turned to christianity and was saved... This is a real hard situation to face... so much adrenaline at the spot, at the time,,, it would make me want to kill myself knowing that I couldn't do anything about it! what I said earlier about pleasure... hmm... I think it would, it's not like I kno, but when done to a girl... wouldn't it still hit the g-spot causing her to have an orgasm over time?... that feeling must be mixed with fear and along with all others...

answering satisphiar with my opinion... hmm... it is quite frustrating when you know what is right and you can't prove to a sick minded... don't worry... this post talks about rape and real situation and therfore; shouldn't offend anyone... the victim starts to struggle cuz she finds out its no more use doing it... they get tired, lose strength and figure that it will be further impossible to get that freak off of her... a guy being raped would prob also give up trying even though all he feels is pain... it doesn't make sense to get someone off of you if they already did their job or is just finishing... you haven't raped someone it doesn't mean that it's right... you haven't raping someone doesn't mean it's not against the law... the raper only knows what's going on at the moment, the pleasure... but has he actually go up to the victim a day later and asked how she or he feels... it's true depression, and I don't think the victim would be all that happy... the raper never understands how the victim would feel if he himself doesn't become the one being injected in the ass

Don`t forget that humans most important sex organ is the brain. He is the one processing the information. He can decide to disregard some information for others that are more overwhelming.

For instance, if your left arm is trap in a machinery and being crushed, it is very likely you will never feel it if someone is putting a needle in your right arm. The information coming from the left arm are so intense the brain disregard that small information coming from the other arm.

First of all, no its not true what you said. No one actually enjoys it for the reason I stated above. That argument is one used by people who are trying to rationalize an act that cannot be rationalized. Maybe you were unable to break his arguments, but that is probably simply because you lack experience and knowledge in that area.

But I bet any of the older people here or myslef could pierce holes in his theory any time. If you are really disturbed by his thinking, you can put his arguments one at a time here (while using a respectable language and a warning before the post, I would also put them in white to let people decide if they want to read something like that). Then we can give you a few arguments to shut this person up

I think "becoming homosexual" is the least of your worries if you're raped. Besides, people are born with their sexuality. If a boy is raped by a man, if anything it would probably make him distrustful of male figures.

I don't know any particular cases but I'm sure it's happened (female rapist, that is) Or they assist in a man's raping someone (Bernardo/Homolka, I'm thinking for any legal students/Canadians)

As for your question, yes women rapists exists. Their numbers have actually been on the rise on the last few dozen years. Don't forget rape is an "unwanted sexual contact" what ever that contact is. (and I better not hear a distastefull joke like "I would gladly be raped by any gorgeous women")

As for your fear of homosexual, would you care to explain why the bedroom activities of someone you meet on the street is scary to you?

Living in ontario I am sure you hear of the Karla Omolka case. That was a case of, amongts other things, a woman raping.

But Karla didn't actually rape the girls, did she? She just assisted in the crime in a major way. (Oh, we hear a lot about the case. Especially since she got out last summer and then an idiot someone made a movie about her -which understandably was only talked about when we protested it, and I'm not even sure if it was screened anywhere)

actually, straight men should be happy that there are gay men. for each gay man there is at least one more free girl. so it makes perfect sense that, as long as they don't bother us, they actually make our lives better.

when i talk to my friends, most of us admit that what we fear the most is trying it and enjoying it. but at least some of us don't transform that fear into anger towards them..

BTW: there can be female rapists alright.. it's true that they don't happen so often, but it's a perfectly acceptable concept..

and man i dont think u know wot its like to be around more gay ppl than u'd expect. in my class of 30 ppl 3 of them r gay and thats just my class hell knows how many gays there r in my school but point is...the fact that i c a daily gay couple either in the hallway or outside kissing or hugging makes me sick enuf to feel like im regurgitating my own food from lunch. since i go to an all boys grammer school god i dont think u wanna experience this...most of my friends feel the same way too (uncomfortable around them) so dont bother giving me any lectures about homoes.

i'm not trying to lecture you about homos, i'm lecturing you about unreasonable hate. come on, if you feel disgusted when you see 2 guys kissing, the problem is all yours. if i was disgusted to see a guy and a girl kissing, the problem would be all mine -- i'd have no right to say "you disgust me, stop doing that"!

if you're bothered by what they do, move to another school. and yes, it's as simple as that -- you have no right to tell them they have no right to kiss each other when straight couples have all the right to do so.

Rape is rape no matter what the sexuality. Rape between the same sex should not be any more wrong than heterosexual rape!

@mike: The way you phrase your sentences is how it sounds disrespectful. Calling someone a "homo" or "gay" is commonly considered disrespectful where I live. Love/sex between the same gender is no different than in a heterosexual situation: the only thing that changes is the body parts involved.

And your school is no different than most other schools, except you have a higher number of boys and no girls. I got just as disgusted at my highschool having to watch all the people making out - it's not a matter of gender, but a matter of "do that in private please".
