ftv Blurb:
"Ririka Moriya received the biggest shock of her life on her birthday. A new student, Kanou, enrolled into the school and gave Ririka a present. Inside was the Nurse's Cap. With it, Ririka would become the legendary Nurse Angel. Now it is her duty to find the Flower of Life in order to save the parallel world Queen Earth from Dark Joker."

If you like series such as Sailor Moon then you'll love this. IMHO it is better than the first Sailor Moon series, Ririka is a more interesting and believable heroine than Usagi (though much younger). There are quite a few plot similarities to Sailor Moon such as the romantic interest who gets possessed by evil forces, bishounen baddies, psychedelic henshin sequences, and an incredibly powerful ending!

This is a fifteen year old series which was never licensed, it was fansubbed in 1997 by Tomodachi on VHS tapes and the first 20 eps resubbed from DVD in 2004-7 by AH but never completed.

But now for the first time since last century you can see the whole series! (Hence this thread) A batch torrent has been made which completes the series by including rips of the old VHS fansubs (so ep.1-21 is good quality 640x480, ep.22-35 is DivX 320x240 encodes of VHS fansubs). (You can't get it via ftv I'm afraid since ftv doesn't collect eps from batch torrents.) It's a shame AH didn't finish it as IMHO the last doezn eps. are the best part of the series, with a great new OP (Dounika, Kounika - Somehow, Someway) kicking in from ep.27, but I think the series is well worth seeing even at low quality if you like this genre.

This Buried Treasure article at ANN describes the series better than I ever could (I especially agree with how he describes the ending: "it rips the viewer's heart out, stomps on it, then quickly puts it back in the viewer's heaving and bloody chest cavity" !)

I've seen the first couple of epis of this show and I did like it quite a bit! I actually stopped watching it because the later shows weren't available and I didn't want to make myself crazy. I can't use bittorrent where I am, but it's nice to know I might be able to find the epis somewhere if they are in digital format now.
