My thoughts:
After watching the first episode, I'd say it was pretty fun but kind of a rushed introduction compared to the Anime. Still, should be worth watching for at least for the cute CGI microbes and the awesomely well portrayed Hasegawa.

Hum...well, I may check it out, dear A~san. Live action, huh? All those cute microbe critters with a real face, in real time? Well...I will saunter over to catch a glimpse, eventually. Nice job in setting it up...well done.

Anyone else watching?

I watched the first two episodes and it's soooo cute XD Introduction did seem rushed compared to the anime, but it's not like it's really bad or things became unclear or something.
I liked OP and ED from the anime better too but the cute microbes make up for it XD

I want to watch this, is it being subbed by SARS ?

I'm watching from Funimation which has good quality translations. Horrible are rips of their subs.

I mostly like this show. The pace is a little slow - not as much seems to be put into each 22 minutes as there were in the anime - the acting is a little... hmm... and they've messed up the story a bit by not introducing Sawaki's childhood friend Yuki in the first episode. anime spoilers I guess that was necessary because he's being played by a woman who probably couldn't pull off playing a guy, but there is going to be no impact at all when she suddenly appears dressed up in Goth Loli clothes. But it's still a very entertaining show to watch just for the CGI bacteria alone. In episode 3, episode spoilers there were some great sequences involving getting mopped up, stepped on, exhaled from a passed out Mutou's mouth and playing amongst some lights on at the UFO club's. The girls in the show are all hot too, so that's also a big plus.

This has also made me want to re-watch the Anime, which I will probably marathon today or tomorrow.

Just a final thought on this series. What I said above pretty much maintains throughout the show. It was fun if you were a fan of the anime, but the anime is by far superior.

I was kind of hoping this would kick-start the manga over here so we could read more of it, but that doesn't appear to have happened.
