Introduction
Vanguard Princes is a free of charge doujin fighting game which was solely created by Sugeno, who is rumoured to be an ex Capcom employee. The game was originally released at the 30th June 2009 and is since then downloadable free of charge from his blog.
It is a classic 2d fighting game, which contains 10 main characters and 4 support characters. The controls are fairly easy since they pretty much resemble the ons of the classic Street Fighter games or the more recent Melty Blood series of TypeMoon.

Review
There is only one word to describe this game, wow, absolutely wow. It’s really hard to believe that one single person has created this all by himself, the gameplay is great, the music is great, the graphic is great, the character design is great (especially veeeery moeishes girlies <3), the voice acting (yeah it even does contain this) is great…just everything about this game is high class and can for some part even knocking out commercial rivals. If you play the game you would never see for a single second that it’s freeware and not a commercial game. I can only say download it and enjoy it^^

Regarding Lunaport, monsta and I tried it around a year ago...but we did not get it to work ...maybe we were just too dumb

... but it probably failed on my bad pc and bad internet connection. Anyways if Lunaport gets to work on a reasonable level then maybe some kind of tournament or something like that could be done.

Ah yes it would be awesome if we could get the multi-player option to work. I do know my internet connection has improved since we tried this Lunaport experiment. And with your main "entertainment" pc back online what better way to test it than play this game?

We can arrange a tournament if we manage to get this to work.

I got one question to ask about this, and is this keyboard usable? I only ask since most PC fighters I play are pretty much on the keybaord though.

I can't remember 100% but I am almost certain Vanguard Princess is keyboard compatible. I am pretty sure there is also an option in using a game controller but there will be a keyboard option. Boy it is such a long time since I last played the game I can't completely remember the controls!

Ah that vid is quiete good I gonna add it to the opening post^^

Nope theres no english patch for it out, but you dont really need an english patch for it, sicne the story part is very very very minimal in this game. And with the english unicode version from mizuumi you dont even need to switch your system to japanese if you want to play it.

Finally Tried it and Its awesome

It may not please the hardcore fans of Fighting games that has an array of finger twisting moves but it is enough fun for me.

The battle system is intersting too

not to mention all the characters are delicious

Other than that a terrific soundtrack but he probably got it in the net. Why? you ask. It's because I already heard some of these tracks before this game or it could be the other way around, but whatever still a great game.

EDIT:The soundtrack Nextframe-san that uses is VP's, the sountrack is originally VP's

This guy is simply awesome, he makes lots of games only in flash but most of them are addictive. He uses the same soundtracks too.

Here's one of his game which has gained popularity to warrant fanarts. This game is also what he is known for making its also where I heard the same soundtrack try to play it to find where and when you can hear it
