I ttried to find out how you do this but I couldn't find anything on it.
There's a recently out fansub of Dash! Kappei by a group called Midori I couldn't find on the site so I wanted to add it but couldn't so I hope through this means isn't too much trouble.

genres: comedy, sports
not a lot of sports anime here actually so.

can't seem to post links but anyways

**EDIT:

also this group subbed episode 1 of Shippu! Iron Leaguer which is sports too and also mecha, 1993, sunrise.
torrents are up at tokyotosho and some info is up at anidb

(un)fortunately, FTV's database is based off of animesuki. As such, we don't receive animes unless they were put up there, and we don't get them *until* they're put up there.

I've always thought there should be a way we could upload torrents onto FTV so that it can keep more up to date with currently running shows, and be able to host shows that aren't on animesuki.

I think this is a pretty good idea. It highlights the need for MORE content. Perhaps full automation isn't the way to go, and opening the Fansub.TV system up some more is the right things to do. A bunch of work has been done to expose the system so that people can make changes here and there..., and I guess even work needs to get done.

I agree that this is a good idea as well. The fact is, the bot doesn't seem to always pick stuff up from Animesuki. Sometimes it ends up missing certain episodes. I don't know whether its because the bot was down or downloading too much at the moment, but as a result members begin to question why some episodes were skipped. I wouldn't say that we should have the bot stray away from the animesuki database, but rather have it continue to do so while we can simultaneously add new series. As animesuki's database shrinks because of all the recent licenses, so does Fansub.TV's. Members should gain the ability to request the series (possibly in the request thread) and any unlicensed series we can *possibly* consider adding to the database as well depending on how popular it is. Probably will require a lot of work implementing such a system or program though

@daft: In a way I think this is also a chance to use the new mirror URL links as an advantage?

Yes, I think the combination of the ability to add new series / episodes by hand... and new mirror URLs would work fairly well hand-in-hand. The next likely step after that in that line of progress is the ability to upload files directly to the network.

what will happen if someone want to be an ass and just upload stuff that not realted in anyway to what they supposily uploading... more importantly if they uploading a virus...

Unless there like a verifing part where the mod look at what they upload if it correct unless it will only be for sempais and fansub tv team

My guess it will be only for sempais and fansub tv team. It would only be welcoming spam if anyone had the power to add mirror URLs
