Plot #1:
Wending his way home after a bender one evening, master moocher and game programmer Keita Ibuki decides to satisfy a craving for ramen at a noodle stand. Instead of slurping soup, though, he surrenders his meal to a manic girl who, unbeknownst to Keita, is a Mototsumitama, a guardian of the coexistence equilibrium. When his new acquaintance is attacked, Keita gets caught in the crossfire and loses an arm. Awakening from the shock of his injury, Keita finds himself back in his apartment... arm intact! But just whose arm is it?! Asking the strange girl raiding his refrigerator reveals only that Keita's life has become a great deal more complicated.

MANGA COVERS:
Plot #2:
Keita Ibuki is an independent and struggling freelance computer programmer who, with two of his friends, is developing and trying to sell a video game program to big-time video game companies in Tokyo while trying to stay afloat and survive financially with money being given to him by his 21-year old childhood friend Akane Sano. He had a chance meeting on one night with a high Mototsumitama named Kuro while eating alone at a ramen stand. He gives her his dinner, a bowl of ramen, and tries to protect her when she is attacked in an ambush by an unknown Mototsumitama. Keita loses his entire left arm during the fight between the Mototsumitamas, but Kuro was able to save his life by exchanging the decapitated arm with her own left arm since she has enhanced healing abilities like all Mototsumitamas. This creates a contract between them, which makes her more powerful than before. However, Kuro warns Keita that they need to be together all the time in order to be at their strongest.
As Kuro stays with Keita and gets acquainted with him while meeting with other Mototsumitamas and their human masters, they are targeted by the strongest Mototsumitama clan of the East, the Shishigami (Lion God) Clan in an attempt to kidnap Akane and bring about the destruction of the coexistence balance, which Mototsumitamas are supposed to protect. Meanwhile, Keita is determined to find out why his mother had died after seeing her double as a young boy and find out who is responsible for trying to destroying the coexistence balance on Earth.

My Thoughts:
I remember picking up this series due to my friends boasting to me about how good it "is" and I'm really happy I did start reading it. I always thought it was manwha....look at Akane.....she looks like she came from UxU....its done written and drawn by 2 Koreans....who live in Japan....hence, its a MANGA.
Anyways, its awesome.....and ppl who really look around for manga know this....I picked this series about the same time I picked up Mx0, Sekirei, High School of the Dead, Ai Kora, UxU, Ga-Rei and a few others.
Unfortunately, the manga scanlations get to be released slowly, mainly because its serialized in a bi-monthly magazine and I doubt we will get to see any scanlations of Chapter 56 until next year.......too long.
Anyways, I heard about the anime being produced about last month but I didn't think it would start as early as January 2009........CAN'T WAIT!!! XD
