Hello.
You are my last chance, i don't know what to do.
I have notebook with Wi-fi adapter Atheros Ar5006EG last version of drivers installed.
Device works (as windows say).There is dot access D-Link Dap 1160 dot works normal, my desktop connects with it good.
But not notebook. He simply can't find it. Windows installed few days ago. If anyone have any ideas, please write here, my head soon will blow up.

Are both computers running the same version of windows? (XP vs Vista)
Some hardware only works with the new/old version of windows as there are no drivers for the other version.

It looks like the hardware you have only works on XP unless I am mistaken.

Are you trying to get your notebook to connect to your desktop and your desktop to connect to your laptop? In that case if one is using Vista and one using XP you will have a lot of trouble trying to get them connected.
