In the BSOD Memory Dump i didnt catch the 8 digit thing since i didnt get paper and pencil in time lol... but i did notice it say something about the graphic card driver the nvsvc32.exe.

The only thing different before i formated is my antivirus and Vocaloid2, updated programs. I updated my driver for my graphic card but i still got it in the end. a few thing i could think of is one my graphic had a longer delay effect from that lighting surge i had before that killed my MB and router and sound card or my current graphic card cant suddently cant handle my setting since it only have 256mb.

i can consider a new video card though...if that is the problem

I got the Hiren Boot CD if that can help me ....i wouldnt know never used it haha...but would like to make uses of it if it good.

btw dont mind the D stuff.. it just a weird thing that occur when i move my hd to my custom built one i left the system recovery partition when it was a compaq lol.

Yeah I got BSOD's in the past with the exact same dll.

Does it occur randomly or when your playing games?

Try reseating your ram sticks and run an x86 mem test. If it passes its not your ram.

I dont think it can be your Hard Drive. unless you hear clicking?

Clean out your heatsink on your gpu. with those air cans.

Turns out my BSODs occured because of overheating my card which then blew.

Had BSODs again a year later and turned out to be a defect ram stick.

If it occurs during games then I suggest you run OSD GPU Temps see if it passes the 95 mark if so that could be your problem. eVGA Precision or RivaTuner would do the job.

Kansatsusha-sama,

You may also want to pick up Spybot - Search and Destroy, Spywareblaster, and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware just to be sure it is not an infection. Something else you can do is uninstall the nVidia graphics driver, download the latest graphics driver off of nVidia's site, and re-install the driver to see if it fixes your issues.

Of course, this is once you follow Prideless-chan's advice and troubleshoot the hardware first, which may include checking if the HDD cables are correctly connected, re-seating cards and memory. Also doing a general cleaning of all surfaces, including CPU and GPU heatsinks should do wonders.

I know it not a virus this is still basicly a clean comp I shouldnt have virus =P My comp is recently formated like 2 week or so ago lol.

And have an antivirus on

Umm yea i wasnt even playing any games I do run heavy program though like 3d max and adobe stuff =P... and others haha

There shouldnt be hd problem lol i dont hear anything lol....

Also the ram and videocard check will be done later bit busy to turn off comp for a while and take out it to check it out. And uhh.... how to use the memtest86 since it in that hiren bootcd XD? Just to note I do clean it out regulary with the compress air.

Like I said I already updated my graphic driver from the site....although I think my other driver is still install lol.... although it say EGVA display driver lol and the other say NVidia driver that i just install haha... it techinically is a EGVA Card

I should reinstall my Easy Tune Pro 5 for my mb to check out my system too...

If I were you, I would seriously uninstall the display driver completely, make sure the evga provided driver is gone, then restart your system. Once back up, re-install the driver for your display directly off of nVidia's site- the newest WHQL driver should be perfect, then restart once again.

Also, was there anything else that was installed recently, hardware or software wise? It may be a conflict. Also, drop by Micro$oft's site and do a search for the newest DirectX Redist, not the SDK. Download and install.

You may also want to check if your Sound Card/Chip has updated drivers on Realtek's site.

When I get back from work, I'll check back and see where the topic has gone. Good luck.

So when is it you get these problems? Are you using a particular program or stressing a particular piece of your hardware?

I used to get that problem on my current desktop. It would ALWAYS happen when I was over-stressing my video card for a long time, either there was a minor glitch in the drivers or the heat started to play a factor. If that's not it you might try to go back to an older version of the driver. Many times the newer drivers can be less stable, since they haven't been tested quite as much.(you can probably find an online forum that has a favorite driver version for your card...) Other than that, bad ram can cause BSOD's of pretty much any kind. Like prideless said, it would be worth it to download memTest and see if your RAM has any problems, and make sure your case is nice and clean. Dust buildup can do terrible things to a computer. (so can spider-colonies
ph34r.gif
)

...and since it doesn't seem like it's a software problem, since you just reformatted everything... it *might* be that your power supply is starting to fail. If it's an older/low_wattage/cheaper power supply, they can tend to die out slowly, and cause all kinds of funky errors before they die altogether. Power supplies are traditionally one of the most failure-prone part of a computer (I think hard drives take the cake though).

But yeah, I would say those would be good things to check out first... unless you've recently installed new hardware or something like that.

There a saying if it aint broke dont fix it so I probaly wont touch the sound driver. Original driver from my mb disc =) And I probaly do the video driver thing later which i would have done anyway lol

Also the SDK from what I read ...yea i need that one although not even sure if i have that one i know im on directx 9c which pretty much the last one and pretty much the same as before format.

btw how bout this i was going to sleep yesterday only my internet browser was on and winamp was playing music..and aim, msn, and utorrent was running then i hear my music looping because of the memory dump...so lol I didnt stress anything lol. Also like i said i dont know how to use that memtest XD lol

Also all my component isnt that old beside the video card. and my PS is 700 watt =P and Im running pracally the same thing as before hareware wise some software got updated or changed but nothing big.

My analizis is that either it my video card or ram because after a certain school project that almost used up all my ram it started to happen more lol...

Also I still didnt do any of my tests yet lol.

You download memtest as an iso then burn to CD and pop in drive while you comp boots and press any key to continue.

Let me know if you need step by step instructions lolz.

You can try stressing your card by benching it. if is BSODs or freeze on you then its your gpu. take out your gpu look for any physical damage, busted fuses etc.

I have a hunch you just need to reseat your ram though.

Better hope thats all it is.

and dang 700W. you packin some punch there lol.

If your gpu is dead lucky you may I recommend you a 4870 or 4850.

If mine busted it give me an excuse to buy another card otherwise ill feel like the card i have will go to waste if it works n all still.
tongue.gif

do the memtest overnight it takes a LONG TIME.

Just to say I probaly wont do any test until I get that BSOD again unless i finish some of my work =3

I didnt do my test yet and I got some nice boot disc to test my comp with such as ERD Commander, Hiren BootCD, Ultimate BootCD, and KNOPPIX but....my comp didnt do the BSOD Memory Dump thus i didnt do the test lol so I notice my newest Portable WD Harddrive formated as NTFS is connected when I get those BSOD before. sooo coincident or not humm.... Wonders lol
