maybe he'll spill now that last creation left debuts in #6, a sick yangire like Shikimi
yep a bit too late warning Magane's creator about his serial killer, an evil mind compensating her lack of power (words)... more action in ep.7 though Mamika kept stopping them, she won Sota's trust by 'Altair is my' i guess drawing

Yeah, I'm watching a sub and they aren't translating those online messages in the links.... so this character is Sota's and not that other girl, whose picture they showed? This is one problem with subs.... well, even dubs don't always translate all the background stuff... so it can be difficult to determine what's going on exactly.... maybe those messages were people that didn't like his character? Is that why he was reluctant to say anything when the other mangakas asked about showing them his drawings? That's the impression I got... makes sense, as the soldier girl said pretty much the same earlier, right? Not sure if she realizes who her creator actually is yet... but now that 'lie' girl knows... and none of these people seem to notice her?

It does seem better when watching 2 or three eps at a time, more like a film... if most of these animes are essentially 'music videos' for the songs used and the mangas... meant as a sales pitch essentially, then why not just go with a longer format length? Why concern yourself with the limitations of ad based tv?

It seems all the characters have now been introduced? I'd have to look at that intro/OP again...

hard to avoid repetition of ideas... as they are essentially archetypes that rise and fall
in other words sota created Altair's "prototype" Shirotsumekura, what a name! no wonder why she wasn't as popular... now with Maid-gane blackmailing him by ep'8 cliffhanger, I wonder if Mamika has revival powers like SailorMoon <_<

First, what does that name mean? in english equivalent? then secondly, rivival powers like Sailor Moon? been a very long time since I saw any eps of that, don't remember it much.. but unless they producers really want to go 'dark', this Mamika magical girl seems one of the best characters.... that and does crossing over into our dimension make them physically the same or different from us? if they still have their powers, then perhaps death takes on a different meaning as well? What happened to Altair's partner/sister character that wasn't as popular? was that in one of those nonsubbed links that Sato saw online? Was it a death due to lack of popularity of her character or what? she looked like another magical girl character, so a revision or 'back from the grave' or resusitation might be in order for that character as well? was anything important in those links Sato saw online a couple eps back? they weren't subbed in english, so...?

Otherwise, this series seems rather well setup so far... interesting at least... original.

for me 'White Clover Diamond doesn't sound appealing, also If you recall SM's crystal revived her and pals at times... but not Mamika's -.- by ep'9 i'm starting to think that carefree, unnoticed Magane's secret' power is super luck

On to Episode 3! which showed
That the changes, which the character designer and author tried for Selesia, didn't work.
Ryu said:
I guess changes work after being published and... by popularity?
finally in ep'10! new powers work how i thought, sadly Selesia's creators didn't at least try it to 'upgrade' her earlier... but that'll help them vs altair who aside blades, can copy others' weapons and Now Magane controls Yuya's Stand'

A girl that dies at the beginning, a creation that knows him and he only slightly remembers her? Guess what!
She Created Her! I'm having a lot of fun on other forum sites against those that did not believe me, I mean, come on, it's as standard as you get: First minute of the series shows a girl that dies and afterwards the whole girl from an other world starts invading and causing an uproar? Who does not get the hint of it being a connection?
Masich said:
As for how Shimazaki and Sōta knew each other... No idea, but it somehow made its way into Altair's world, which is why she knows him.
it's in #11 yet i wonder what he has to do with her creation, if Megalosphere's plagiarized Shirotsumekura isn't his work?... maybe next will explain how Yuna (dying?) met altair, even mechpilot Kanoya got some character development ;)

And it seems that the military girl's creator is dead, so no upgrade there, right? I do wonder if cosplay is commonplace enough in Japan so that these anime characters can walk around the city without getting any attention? ;)

Isn't this series original as well? It seems the only ones that don't go trite with the cliche storylines are original, not that they are good, just not so cliche all the time. Not sure on the production team, but this one has a good setup that seems directed towards a goal.... like the end of the season... though I think it is 20+eps.. so it continues into the summer, right? At least it's interesting.... though it still seems the kid is hiding his involvement in some way with the military girl character... and the other one on horseback seems to jump the gun a whole hell of a lot... showing some weakness in her character setup if not the anime's writing itself.... is her 'creator' dead or something? I can't remember... who those other two the govt brought in were writing for, but we have all of the characters we've seen on the intro, so things should lock down now. Perhaps my only real compliant is this lying girl.... who also seems unfazed by anyone's attacks... which really don't make any sense.

actually he was locked in order to 'revise' Alice yet she let him free, ep'12 also shows why Sota felt like he killed Yuna... So as secondary creators made Altair overpowered, a plan to stop it started but her new ally is selesia's world MC

For a wrapup or summation episode, this ep13 was rather well done, some tongue-in-check, a little sass, etc.... while giving the backstory on the characters not really given during their appearances... interesting pause and reset for the rest of the anime as it continues. well done IMO. The whole guilty Sota thing is rather weak so far, so hopefully his character gets a little 'hero' upgrade as well.... and isn't that what life experiences are for? ^_^ The 'cage' aspect of converging storylines is interesting...

One point is that that magana? or lying girl wasn't explained too well, even in this ep13... though the 'sexy' Meteora was interesting... reminded me of the older vs younger [I'lll have to look it up, can't remember names much].... from ... Ah.... Suzumiya Haruhi? wasn't that it.... the time travel girl/woman... Got it! Mikuru Asahina... haven't seen that done in quite a while. This story looks like its got a sense of direction, something Haruhi never had.. an overblown LN adaptation that got way, way, way bigger than anyone thought possible.. only that 'chan manga is ongoing according to Wikipedia. This anime original project has a definite completion in mind it seems... a goal or endpoint, so this ep13 timeout was a good idea to prep for the second half.... like half time in American football. ;)

Hmmm. I don't see my post from last night after watching the ep13... which I liked, a 'review' ep, but more like a halftime show for American football... and it gives you the more in depth background on the various characters already introduced.. was there a hint at another one or two to come? Seemed like it... and our narrator, Meteora, is given a hint of transformation as well from young to slightly older and taller and sexier version of herself, which reminded me of that character of the time travelor from Suzumiya Haruhi... Mikuru Asahina... that was rather cool. definitely different and it all had a sense of intent as stated, that they planned this ep from the beginning to transition into the next cour. This seems to be one of the best if not the best of the season... the 'original' aspect is definitely on display.

i think it's better than most recaps, good thing i didn't finish all haruhi series... the 0P was my favorite last season, but i bet its 2nd cour will get a new one b)

finally now if he'll create his own, telling by #14 new creations will join them :)

Watched it a few days ago? Can't really remember it... not a good sign... it seems that they could have edited it out almost completely.... filler perhaps if they timed out the number of eps needed to tell the story... then add a couple to fill up the cour.
after recap and week break, sexy Meteora would be better bath fanservice ;/... anyway i think 0P2 is the best this season too, damn ep.16 battle cliffhanger :(

Ask for a new OP and you shall get one..... but seeing how much of these animes are industry product to sell songs like music videos or to sell collections of the original material like mangas... LNs or product merchandise, it isn't very surprising that the songs change every season... usually not for the better it seems to me.... but this new S2 ending has an interesting use of the chibi forms of the characters interacting with their creators drawings of them and their world.... that's interest to see.

I would like to see Meteora 'grow up'... sexy, but not in any American blatant manner... rather cool and naturally 'sexy'. ;) Latest new ep for this season is mostly setup for the story to come.

nice 0P2 yet i prefer its first one but ED2 is more original, now a x-rated game useless Main heroine debuts in ep'15... eroge'harems are popular after all (not 0nly Japan), while she and 2 creators join another new creation aids Altair?<_<

A setup episode... most of which wasn't needed, so they are definitely pacing this for a series finale at the end of this cour... osis. This ep was a little boring, like taking a step back before stepping forward. I wonder why they did it? Couldn't they think of anything else to do with the characters before starting the main work? Watched it a few days ago? Can't really remember it... not a good sign... it seems that they could have edited it out almost completely.... filler perhaps if they timed out the number of eps needed to tell the story... then add a couple to fill up the cour. This is why I prefer to watch finished storylines.

yep they're Main 'heroes' from Yūya and Selesia's stories, guess the one left to debut has his own mech like she in ep.17... we'll see how worth was waiting a month, if Blitz's daughter revived can't Mamika's creator bring her back too?-_-

Yeah, bringing back the magical girl Mamika would be nice, but we haven't seen the kid's contribution yet... I was thinking it might have something to do with that suicide girl he felt guilty about not helping before, the creator of this battlegirl.... something along that line, that brings out the desire to 'end it all' in battlegirl... regret or remorse perhaps?

most likely telling by how Magane helped him in ep.18, so only one Ally left of altair finally joins (brainwashed?)... if the once powerless creation is now a hot martial artist, there is hope for Meteora to be recreated and fight along too :d

It was nice having two eps to watch... didn't realize I missed one... the action finally started... new characters added to be quickly eliminated with the old ones... the scene shifting rather well, it seems this is where the writing is starting to peak, as all the characters are action based, we don't see them at their best until they are in action mode... and eliminating main characters really makes it interesting... but in the end, they will all be eliminated back to their own 'world' and storyline.. not sure if the 'crazy' girl realizes this yet or not... as this anime's creation team is making her and Altair rather omniscient, all powerful etc... that 'reverse cause and effect' is something I've thought of before as a base defense mechanism... I thought her opponent might have realized that the hugged/kissed her instead... or something along that line having the effect of empowering themself.... as it's all thought based... but this is where the writing gets a little 'off'.... if she was this all powerful, she's wouldn't have needed to bring in others... if it's something she's picked up/acquired recently, she won't care about anyone else, especially as, like her creator, she is suicidal... and those she brings in aren't too bright... they do't ask questions and just assumes she's telling them the truth... again, this is where the writing gets 'off'.... but it's hard to have enough action scenes through the remaining eps of the series othewise.

But definite improvement.... seems that kid's idea will present itself in the next ep, maybe the one after that if they want to milk it more... and Altair is taken out by herself?
