Man I hit around level 42 and prety much I think I now have the quest to end the main line as of now. Pretty much I decdied to hold off on that and finsih up my side workings and whathave you. Although I managed to finish up the Civil War line for the Imperial side. Oddly enough I'm not sure if I'm missing a quest to finish up for them though, but it was one of those very minor ones.

Although the Thieves Guild Quests do tend to really make a lot more money than the Dark Brotherhood quests it would seem.

Well after i got to 20 smth on the first character in 2 days, I re-rolled for a battle-mage type and on master instead of expert... well.. I must say atleast dragons feel like actual dragons now XD but leveling and everything sure goes slowly only 27 after a week...
I also walk to locations no fast travel.. aside from the occasional cart from capital to capital when I need to get there directly, and I actually roleplay xD no thieves guild or DarkBro's guild on this char
ohmy.gif
Helps with me being able to to make around two more characters who i can then play with the other quests. I'll thoroughly enjoy Skyrim *crazy possessive laugh*

and when the creation kit comes out... u-ho-ho-ho-ho

I have a theory that I'm trying to test out here. This is involves alchemy, enchanting, and blacksmithing being skilled up. If you make a potion for enchanting and then enchant a piece of equipment x 4 for alchemy. Then in turn make a potion for enchanting... If there is no max limit, then it may be possible to build up your enchantments to an infinite amount. then you can blacksmith. However the blacksmithing description says "... then improve them twice as much."

improve them twice as much means twice as many amount of times not double their amount. But anyway there is a limit to all that, though it still get very powerful. Here is the guide:
QUOTE (elderscolls.wikia.com)
Using Alchemy, enchanting and smithing, ultimate weapons can be made. To do this, start by using Alchemy to create potions of "Fortify Enchanting", which allows the player to create stronger enchantments of "Fortify Alchemy". The player can now create a stronger potion of "Fortify Enchanting" and so on building on each other. The process is described below.
Usually the player can make a set of four items of +25% alchemy skill for any fortification skill like alchemy and enchanting. There is an exploit in which you can wear a Falmer helmet over a circlet and both have stacked effects [Tested PS3 and PC]; quite useful for this. So now make 25% fortify alchemy enchantments on the Falmer Helmet, any ring, any necklace, and gloves/bracers and a circlet. Note that the falmer helmet and circlet can be worn at once. Wear all of the enchanted equipment and make a fortify enchanting potion. With this potion, you should be able to create fortify 29% alchemy and smithing enchantments. Also while enchanting try to be quick as potion lasts for 30 seconds. Note that there is a cap of 29% fortifying alchemy and smithing enchantments so going over this number is not possible. Using this you should be able to create 147% smithing fortification potion [Tested PS3]. Also a 37% enchanting fortification potion can be created but since 29% has been reached its not much useful for this but quite good for other enchantments.

Using this we would get 4 x 29% smithing gear and 147% smithing potions. Using these, staggeringly powerful weapons and armors can be made and improved.

For this process to be possible it is requiered to have 100% in enchanting, alchemy and smithing with the relevant perks.

Note: This process uses the falmer helmet worn over circlet glitch which ultimately allows a potion of 147% fortify smithing potion and 37% enchanting potion to be brewed.

New found addition: If you have the "Extra Effect" Enchanting Perk which allows you to put two perks on a weapon, you can put the first Enchant on a weapon as a weapon skill such as Paralyze, and the second Enchant as Fortify Smithing, this can give you a maximum of 29% Fortify Smithing weapon.

So now it is possible to have 5x Smithing Gear!

Yeah but to make the Alchemy abiltiy a bit better is knowing what ingredient has what. The up side would be to work on it like crazy and hope things turn out well.

In any case somehow I noticed that after obtainning the crystal to obtain the Elder Scroll it seems that my blacksmithing and Enchanting increases fairly quickly now. If only there was a permanet way of increasing my Alchemy faster without the training.

Oo making stuff... and eating eating stuff.
If you have enough gold.. its actually pretty easy to level any of the skills
enchanting is pretty annoying though xD

P.S. Oh and btw, will be happy if any of you guys add me on steam

I felt like Skyrim made itself accessible to newcomers of an RPG similar to what Fable 2 did. The game was made with both RPG newcomers and veterans in mind and I applaud Bethsoft for doing such a thing. Despite the glitches that were the in the game at the time of release, these glitches (in most cases) were not gamebreakers, they were just fun.

I am curious as the how they would do DLC for this game aside from a few missions, this game has a lot of what it needs. More patches is what the game needs to fix the last few holes in the game.

I love the soundtrack to the game so much that I bought an official OST to it, signed by the composer Jeremy Soule himself.

This game has the most heart-wrenching soundtrack of all time if I do say so myself.

The graphics are beautiful and even better with the HD mods that are made possible for the PC version of the game. Although, I was slightly disappointed when I was playing it on my Xbox 360... was walking through a small prairie, saw a dandelion... walked close to look at it in detail... just to realize it was a flat flower... literally. It made me sad.

I do not truly hope to see a sequel to this game. Story wise, this is where it should all end. If they continue it feels like it would just tug on the story too much and it would fall unstable and apart. Then again, Bethsoft as done an amazing job at coming up with things we deemed impossible.

All-in-all, with over 150 into two separate characters, I can say I truly love this game and this is the best game since LoZ: OoT

EDIT: QUOTE Oh yeah I'm supprised as to how this game gained a meme now with taking an arrow to the knee.

Wow, wassup Nightdragon, haven't seen you in awhile.

I've seen it being played in front of my eyes by my cousin and many of my friends....I intend to borrow it of my cousin during the summer, when hopefully he's finally finished with it.

I love the fact, that weight plays a factor on what you can equip....you could either abuse it or do it such a way that it makes you feels like a real warrior.

On the first note, thank you. It has been quite some time. I had hoped to come to a more... active... location within the internet but not all hope is lost, I am certain. Nice to see you too, my good chap.

On the second note, to stay on topic and not abuse the pleasant welcome, finishing Skyrim is similar completely self-centered art. There is never a completion, only a way to experience more and better yourself. As stated earlier, I have put nearly 300 hours into Skyrim just in gameplay. I have put in extra time with studying the strategy guide and doing modifications with the PC version. (Might I add that giant swearing mudcrabs are incredibly fun to fight unarmed)

Oh yeah the first DLC expansion just came out a while back, and I'm now wondering is it worth getting yet, or should I hold off on getting it. By that I mean wait for a few more months beofre they fix any bugs with said DLC expansion.
tongue.gif

Well, if you have the PS3 version, definitely hold back. I know that the PS3 has had issues still yet to be fixed with the original game. Dawngaurd will have problems galore then with the PS3. It seems to me that this game was designed with the PC and XBox 360 in mind so those might be okay. And if you're waiting for any fixes with bugs, you can always backup your saves now and buy the DLC and play the game. There usually are work-a-rounds for bugs so I would say earlier to get the DLC, the better.

Yeah I have the PC version, but they do have the wierd stuff such as a certain area the dragons fly backwards somehow along with some questlines being... kin dof dumb as well even if I did it or finished it.
rolleyes.gif

Well about the DLC, I heard that the PS3 version hasn't the DLC yet ! And we still don't know when they'll be released. For the PC and XBOX-360 version, I don't know if there is some bugs or other things but the game looks quite good. The only problem is that the 1st DLC is designed for low-level character. Which means, if you have a lvl50 character, you should destroy everything in your path

Here I thought that they would do the whole scaling the setting or something like they did with the DLC stuff from Oblivion. I mean that stuff scaled with your level. Although it gave me the reason to power level, and not only that, but to even stay at level 4 when I should be around level 30 or so.

I eventually caved and bought it a few months back, found it to be well worth the money in time invested. The game actually does scale properly and gives you enemies based on your level, but with the vast accumulation of resources and skilled up stuff, it makes it easier if you choose certain avenues. For example, gett high level destruction magic coupled with plenty of mana, you can just spam dual casts at virtually any enemy and they cant do anything about it but repeatedly get dazed. A way i made it more difficult on myself is started teching up weak skills and refusing to use the ones id maxed, all while upping the difficulty setting in the game. The combat gets repetitive but the various storylines are still fun to go through. Theres also the additions of mods if you have the pc version which make it harder. For example, i added a realism mod that implemented hypothermia and camping, making some areas more dangerous.

I think I heard that the ps3 version wont ever get the dlc? It has something to do with the ai and memory bandwith not fitting into thw 256mb alotted to the console. The ps3 has 256 for the cpu and 256 vram fixed, where the xbox has 512 flexible for either compute or video, not split and fixed. This makes it a limitation in contiguous persistent worlds like skyrim.
