Are you learning Japanese (beginner, intermediate, or advanced level)? Do you have an interest in working for the anime, manga, or gaming industry? Not sure if your knowledge is adequate or enough for the industry? If any or all of the above apply to you, we are offering an exclusive chance for you to get those questions answered as well as a potential job placement. See here for more information.

ray=out anime and manga services is a non-profit and independent anime/manga translation and subtitle provider. It was founded in 2006 by two Norwegians and two Americans for the Capeta anime, but has since expanded with a lot more anime and staff from all over the world. We have been able to survive all these years (and still do) due to my dedicated leadership and role in the organisation. That said, we are short on staff and urgently need your help! We have over 100-translation scripts of anime series, OVA, and films, with more coming every few months. To see our list of projects (current and future), visit our official web-site here.

We are currently stalled on a number of projects because we don't have a back-up for that role (timer and quality checker). Such projects include 8-gatsu no Symphony: Shibuya 2002-2003, AIKa: Zero, Konnichiha Anne ~Before Green Gables~, Akage no Anne: Green Gables e no Michi, Maicchingu Machiko Sensei, and many more.

- If you know how to time anime and are interested in helping us with any or all of our projects that are stalled or even future projects, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

- If you have a keen interest in the subtitling community, a sharp eye, as well as are familiar with either British or American English (both preferred), please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

You can apply for both or either roles from our web-site or this on-line application.

If you are interested in the job placement or training opportunity mentioned above, contact us directly via Facebook or the form on the right hand side of our contact page (on our site).
