LOL, i think the main problem apart from how much it costs is how often u're going to get pulled over by the cops XD

only 10,000 yen? That's like 100 USD, which is not real bad considering the great artwork there. You could easily spend double or triple that for car art these days, however the legality of it in the US would be problematic at best. There would definately be some tickets issues and a court order to have it removed, I think. That is unless you put it on something like a show car, but you would be limited in where they would allow you to show it. Most car shows would automatically disqualify you.

Mowerman, I disagree completely. I don't think you'd have any legality issues. Complaints, perhaps, but nothing legal. The image is not (as far as I can tell) pornographic, it is merely "ecchi". No nudity is shown; and I will point out that there are many cars, motorcycles, and aircraft which display scenes of women in all different poses nearly nude, but not quite, and it all blows over just fine. Why should this be any different? If anything, it's better b/c it's an anime character rather than a more realistic drawing of a real woman.

Her breasts are uncovered. As to the rest, they have arrested people for wearing more than she is wearing, here in Florida. I can just about guarantee that it would be deemed pornographic or lude display in public here.

Where can i get that sticker? i'll think i'll put it on the back of my car

. Does anyone know if there is also a hood variant of this?

It's not a sticker. It's window tint. If it were a sticker it would be illegal almost everywhere to put it in the back window like that. You would not be able to see out your rear view mirror.

Hmm normally I don't like car tuning, but I would certainly love to get something like that on the back window

Mowerman, her breasts are not uncovered, and when I was living in Florida, there were plenty of girls wearing the same amount and less clothing without a problem. Never heard of any woman wearing more and getting arrested (excluding that 80 yr. old wearing a thong...which I must say I think was more than fair >.<) So unless things have changed in the last year in Florida, then I still say you are mistaken.

Note: When I say her breasts are not uncovered, I mean that her breasts are pressed against the ground, and her hands in front as well, thus covering the 'nudity'. Pictures worse than that are displayed in Publix and Wal*Mart in the magazine aisle in plain site; why not on a car? And I also refer to my previous statement about other vehicles of all kinds which have paintings, stickers, window tints, etc on them without a problem.

Edited for typos...

It wasn't an 80 year old in a thong, it was a business and several employees ranging in age from 18 to 40 and they were selling hotdogs. They were wearing the thongs because just like in every other business, sex sells better than anything

. Yes her breasts are exposed. The only thing covering them are two very small strands of hair. Her hands are actually cupping her breasts, so that could be viewed as erotic.

As to the being shown in other showcases, yes, there are far worse things in most grocery stores. You can even get pornographic magazines at every corner store you walk into, the difference is, they are at a managed facility and covered up, for the most part by shelving and inserts provided by the distributor.

Public nudity/lude or obscene displays are not managed. Any person/child, who comes within veiwing of your car will see it, therefore it is against the law. I have not seen anything close to the amount of exposure that is being displayed in that window tint anywhere else. I have seen silhouettes and suggestive of being nude, i.e. a face but single colored body of another color other than flesh. Did you know, that if you are caught veiwing a pornographic video or magazine, in your car, you can be fined and ticketted? There were several instances of it happening a couple years back when the first big wave of mobile dvd players in minivans and suvs came out.

This is borderline. I'm not saying I don't like it, cause I do. From what I can see, it's a very nicely done piece of art, but the 60 year old lady down the street that goes to church 4 times a week, and thinks anything above the thigh is indecent is gonna be calling the law on you everytime you pull out and more than likely, they are gonna ticket you. If it were smaller, it might not cause a commotion because it would not be as visible.

Actually, mowerman, I was specifically referring to an 80 year old woman who got fined for indecent exposure for wearing a thong to a public pool; I don't know what you're talking about.

Further, her hands aren't cupping her breasts, as they are palm down; which makes it practically impossible to cup anything with the back of your hand. And even further, I was referring to things such as Sports Illustrated, gaming/PC magazines, and the like - which have images similar to that window tinting on the front cover, in plain sight. I was NOT referring to pornographic magazines which are kept wrapped, and behind a counter out of sight unless specifically asked for by a customer. So once again, I fail to see the difference.

And just cause a woman calls to complain about the car doesn't mean they will ticket you. Having been involved with law, having a father who works as a government agent, and an uncle who is a police officer, I believe I have enough foreknowledge to say that you would be relatively safe driving your car with the back window displaying such an image.

I just posted a better image of the sticker

Well, there was a big to do in Daytona a few years back because a group of girls were vending hot dogs on A1A near the beach and their attire, every single one of them, was thong bikini bathing suits. The police started with issueing citations and then the city got involved too, revoking their license to do business. All because they were wearing thong bikini bathing suits in a highly public place.

Sport Illustrated, etc etc, do not show topless models in their shelf magazines. Some of them have special editions which are issued to subscribers only that sometimes go there.

After seeing the new image, I see that her hands are down and not up. On the back of the car it looked like she might be cupping her breast in the tradition ecchi way to show embarrassment by covering the nudity with whatever is available.

If you're so certain that it's not illegal, go ahead and put it on your vehicle. When you get ticketed and have to have it removed by court order, all I am gonna say is, "I told you so." Not long ago, I had the same thing happen to me, for neon lights. I was pulled over because the cover had cracked on my license plates neon light and allowed about 1/2 an inch of it to show directly out behind me. I was ordered by the judge to not only remove the license plate neon but also the undercarriage lights. His reason was because neons had been deemed as unsafe and an eyesore by the community, I.E. Brevard County. Perhaps the area you live in is a little more leniant, and will allow something like that to be exhibited in public.

EDIT**

All that aside, and I just looked this up, that window tint is in violation of most states ordinances concerning tinting. If it occludes the window to the point that you can not see in, then it's in violation. This law was passed down many years ago due to the number of instances where cops could not see what was going on inside the vehicle, from behind, due to window tinting. Plus in this specific case, you are advertising for a hentai game by displaying that image, and I think everyone here knows that there are groups out there that have formed to try and stop any form of hentai anime/game from coming into the US. Their reasoning is, it's a cartoon and therefore it's targeted at children.

Actually, Neon Lights in the undercarriage of a car have been illegalized in all of the U.S. Though most cops don't care, the fact is that it is illegal, and you can be ticketed for it and ordered to have them uninstalled. Same thing goes for Window Tinting, most states have a low about how far you can tint your window, and its up to the officer's opinion of whether it's too much or not. Most cops don't care, but a few do.

Also, the image doesn't necessarily advertise a hentai game, it is simply an image of a woman. I don't know of "Clear" is a name of an H-Game *shrug* But even if it were, people can be against it, it doesn't mean that it's illegal. You still seem to fail to see the difference between one person's opinion, and the actual LAW.

Either way, I'm tired of arguing about it, bye byez *waves*

Hehe, here is the link for Clear . I have not seen any Federal Regulation banning neon lights. Just as with Tinting, it's a state by state, county by county deal. You still see them all over the place in Orlando, which ticks me off, but come over to the space coast and they are completely gone.
