First impressions of a fellow FTV'er

Well ive been meaning to create this thread for a while now and just havent figured out where to put it, so im hoping that general discourse is the right section for this.

Well anyway as the topic suggests, this thread is all about your first impressions of a fellow FTV member. There are just a few things you must know about this thread. (A.K.A. Rules) Dont worry i wont make them long.

1. Definitely no insulting members. This is purely for fun and to see if you got the correct impression.

2. If its not fun then we dont want to know. Give honor to people.

3. Say your opinion in a nice way. No arguing even if you disagreee with a member.

4. No spamming this topic. What i mean by this is no one liners. You MUST give a valid reason why you thought this.

5. Probably best to put this rule you can only give impressions on 3 members each post but can post twice in a day. This is purely to stop spamming.

6. Have FUN doing this. Also if you have any other rule suggestions please feel free to give your opinion.


I'll start us off.

Eggbeast: My first impression of the famous Egg was that he is very smart and intelectual, the reason i got this impression is because when i read a post from him i realised he knows a whole bunch of vocabularly that i dont and his spelling is almost perfect every time.

Thats an example of what you should say about memebers.

P.S. for mods not sure if this should be in the games section as its not really a game.

Okay, i'll give this a go

Monsta:

My first impression of the monsta was that he really knows how to talk about all kinds of topics and knows what he is talking about and furter more he is kind and helpfull towards other member's and mostly towards the newest members here in FTV.

shinigamii:

He knows allot of cars and i think that's awesome. Anime and cars is a good combination. And i noticed you know how to talk too, you also know what your taking about.

Eggbeast:

He smart, intelectual and funny and knows how to make other FTV members happy and i know for sure that he give the other members a smile on their faces and so when egg is around, the forums is a nice and funny place to be.

Well here are some from me. (please don't be offended if i am wrong. i mean no mean lol)

Shinigamii:

Knows alot about cars, is one of the first people i met on this site and was really nice. he notices others mistakes (that's a good thing) but only tries to help them out instead of being mean about it. (and he got good grades in his quiz )

Eggbeast:

Well, i dont know much about him, but by looking back in forums, i figured out he is very Nice funny and kind, he likes to make jokes and he is [Egg]smart. lol

BRONIC:

He goes to work and sneaks on this site ( ) just to post to us. he recently gave me his virus ( ) but he didn't mean to lol, he is nice and smart too .

(last but definitely not least)
Monsta:

likes to help people out, as much as he can (he told me how to post my delicious signature) and is very good at keeping on track. He gives a good welcome to new members especially if they don't know the rules.

Thats all for now, when i get to know everyone else better, i will post you.

Well thanks (i tihnk ) Noshi, is this the first time we've came across each other.

Well anyway i thought so aswell, but it would be nice you could come in here and give your first impressions too from the newer members and the old if you remember. (although something like that youll never forget). Or atleast i havent.

I actually thought Hiasubi was a girl until browsing the picture thread today.

So, just so you dont feel left out my first impression of you was a very shy sweet girl. I also thought, although your sweet and shy you will fight for what you feel is right. BTW one thing is for certain i thought you were very smart aswell which i now know you are.

Emmy:

She loves cupcakes, she is also great at riddles because she knows alot of them and can come up with some pretty tough riddle's, Lives in florida like me.

ImTakes:

She is probably the most compasionate member here at FTV, she is really nice as she frequently asks me how my baby sister is doing. She has a liking for the sport of futbal. She is also a great poet.

@shinigamii: well, those sure are a lot of impressions for someone who has never seen me and came across me for first time XD
so my first impression: you seem a fun person XD

as for the rest, Im not good at impressions xD also even though I've been here for a few years already, I don't know all the new members as I'm not that active anymore ^^

@Noshi when i say the first time ive came across you i mean talked to you via post. I have read some of your posts from a while back when you were active im guessing and those are the first impressions i got from you.

i seem to use alot of things loosely.

Ah....you are a sweetie to mention an old timer like me......gracias! I have been here a while too, like Noshi-sama. I have too many first impressions, to mention, and some are very old But I will say that so far, all the new FTV members, seem nice enough...stay that way guys, don't change and keep having fun!
@ oppai-ga-suki I will compose a little poem for your sweet baby girl. Be on the look out!:lol:

I don't know if this would make it too much like a game, but perhaps it would make things more inclusive for older members? While you can still give impressions of other members, perhaps try and include your first impression of the previous poster? (or the impression you have now, for those of us probably can't remember ) Just seems like it would add a little bit of organization to the thread.

Interesting idea though.

well first off thanks and it could be added, the only problem i have there is that some members may run our of impressions for the member abovve but it seems like an interesting concept so ill add it if you would like to see how it would go. just say the word. Also would it be like a game then?

Id say no to that because its still about the impressions but lets hear other members views please.

First impressions...

Emmy: Lover of cupcakes!!! That goes without saying really. I also got the impression that Emmy is full of energy!

Dalriada: A very logical thinker. Good critic.

EggBeast: A lover of hugs... Kinda funny guy too!

If you follow chiisai_hana's suggestion then it becomes a game. At the moment we are just expressing our opinions so the general discourse is the best section. Your call really. If you want to turn this into a game just change the rules and PM a mod to move it to the right section. Interesting idea though!

First impressions?
monsta666 I found him to be funny, witty, very smart, and quite articulate in his arguments...a poet in the making.
oppai-ga-suki A master at predicting the Euro 2008 Futbol winners...a nice guy, very polite and very amusing.
chreyzee Another funny and amusing member...very knowledgeable, when it comes to all things, Type Moon. That is what impressed me most.
Vicepuma I tripped over him and saw his picture.....a kawaii guy. He was so gracious and kind to me for my blunder and my impression of his kindness? He has not proven me wrong! A hard working, anime loving Swede of a guy!

well Sorry Chiisai it was a good rule in theory but it would make it too much like a game as Monsta says and too similar to the links ImTakes gave.

well some more of my first impressions.

DOR: When i first joined i was taking a look at the compitition section and thats where i first came across DOR, i first thought he was very good at GFX and a very clean neat and tidy person due to his neatness in topic making. I now have quite a good time talking to DOR on the anime fans minicities.

Monsta: I was very scared of Monsta at first he always seemed to be telling people off or proving people wrong in threads. But as i got to know him it turns out hes very kind and helpfull. Well that was until he told me a Doomsayer off the other day. now i despise him. only joking Monsta.

Emmy: Recently joined member, was extremelt shy at first but as she got to know everyone (and the rules of the riddle game) she's become the most energetic member i've came across (well maybe apart form Senpai). Emmy~Chwan~~

Hmmm let's see

EggBeast: Well when he joined we spent a lot of time in the Thoughtful section and he was always complaining about school (spamming the riddle thread!!)

Yaya: Being the nicest and friendliest member without a doubt

DoR: Being the forum police was the first thing but under all that rock is a fuzzy neko loving freak

Monsta: Being an English and a football loving freak

Senpai: Accurate and extremely well opinions about anime very similar to my own


There are a lot more people but not all of them are left on the forums anymore

Anyway that was the short version

lemmee think here... my first impressions of 3 people...

@monsta666: Oh goodness, I remember his 1st avatar and thought he was entirely crazy, but actually reading the meat of his posts and some of the so-called "thoughtful" discussions we'd get caught in, I found out he's a pretty cool guy, definitely a smart, cool, soccer (or football, whatever and wherever it's called) obsessed guy. Dang, but it's been a long time since I've publicly given a hug isn't it? aww, come here monsta'! *man-hug*

@shinigamii: The first time I really remembered him standing out from any of the "fresh meat" of FTV was when he responded to one of my comments, I don't even remember which, and I don't even remember what he said exactly, but it was outrageously flattering. I remember sitting there and thinking, "holy crap, this is so outrageously flattering!". But it's cool, I'd have to call shinigamii a really cool person, the world definitely could use more nice people like him.

@Vicepuma: I think we joined FTV right around the same time, during which I noted that we were both in the thoughtful section a lot (yay for thoughtful section!), and for some reason, I remember him being caught up in some sort of debate over the egregious breast sizes in an older anime (I think it was dragonaught?) Always seems a swell fella, that Vicepuma. (haha, and I still complain about school all the time. ...not that there's anything wrong with school! )

Ok.. only two people.. but here goes..

Well, for starters the first time I "met" monsta was, if I'm sure in the suicide thread.. And sooner or later.. we started discussing euthanasia.. And just posting and seeing what he had to say about it made me start to respect him alot.. mostly because we agreed on a bunch of things.. xP and because he always tried to kep the Thoughtful thread.. THOUGHTFUL by trying to keep everyone calm and keep from attacking one another..go monsta! xD

Dalriada:
Being completely honest.. I had some problems.. with Dal.. Its not that I didnt like him.. he, as well as I, are very stubborn.. so it wasnt going to well.. almost to the point I wanted to start cursing him out in a certain thread.. but another member, you know who you are.. xP, helped me to start listening to what he has to say about some other topics and it really made me begin to respect him.. I mean I have never met another person who knows more about politics than Dal.. and he even tried helping me understand Christianity more thoroughly.. Hopefully Dal and I.. or just me.. wont have any more problems.. xP

God.. sorry for the long post.. xD

I just remembered this thread.

Dont know the guy personally but one person left an impression on me.

Senpai-kun: In a particular thread where people who should know better espoused a lot of nonsense, one man stood against the tide. That man was Senpai-Kun. I found his posts in that particular thread to be courageous. Man hugs wherever you are.
