Tears To Tiara

Well since I'm almost near the end of the game and saw how it can possibly play out I think this might turn out to be a fairly good series. As for Rinannon and Morgan they have thier reasons for falling for him oh so quickly. For Rinannon she feel for him since she was to be a sacrifice to him, but changed when he helped save her life and will. Although she returned the favor by saving his life against her brother. Not only that, but she kind of grew fond of him since he did save her life there.

As for Morgan, it was pretty much the same thing. Supprisingly she had a special scene with him right after that very battle on the ship. Although they did keep the whole "I'll like your wound to stop the bleeding" gag there. That was funny the first time I've read that. In any case it's pretty much the same reason why Rinannon likes him. He just spared her life so in turn she likes him for that as well.

Oh don't worry not all of the girls fall for him because he spared thier lives except for one more girl. Although that would actualy complete the trio of fighters once she shows up. The remaining girls are pretty much the elves that tend to show up at Avalon. Only two of them will fight along side him.

I have to kinda agree with what you said there. This show... it has some potential, but it lacks firm identity and it just seems like another generic fantasy anime, except that this one is situated around western myths. Seriously, must anime stereotypes always follow (Morgan, for example)?

When you mentioned Morgan, did you mean the bubbly character? Well just so you guys know in later episodes she prefers to eat just like a certain girl from the Slayers series. Although she might get her serious moments if they manage to place them in the anime of course.

Ok so episode 4 is now out. I kind of enojyed how they gave the two house elves a better look then what they had in the Visual Novel. Also, it seems Epona is currently running the weapon's suplly in the anime and can fight to a degree it seems. Well in any case at least she's seeing some action sooner then usual.

Also, with the next episode it seems that a certain Spoony Bard will make an appearance before the remaining two elves actually show up in the enxt episode it seems. So it looks like this series might go out with a 24 episode series in the end of it all.

Ok I'll aswer those questions with why nots in order then.

Why not? This is an anime series not a hentai series.

Why not? Because the studio doing it probably wanted to change things up abit since the game is at least 4 to 5 years old. In any case she had a minor change to her looks, but she still looks rather cute to me.

Why not? Ok here that question made not sene, but I'll chance it why not clairify what you mean by this one for me. Since I can only get they can only take oh so much from a visual novel but they want it t be a bit original at the same time, or more like a retelling of the series.

Anyways I'm going to check out this episode to see what they've changed from the Visual Novel then.

Ok so they changed up a few minor details, but nothing to be agrivated or annoyed by for this episode. It seems that the Sea Elf Llyr makes her full appearance by the next epsidoe, not only that but it looks like Octavia is going ot be captured in battle instead for being found in a random crate full of food.

A good Episode even tough I hoped that Gaius plans would fruit, because than we would have more action in this Anime.
Its a bit surprisingly that a Minstrel runs around at night all alone, he is a welcome pray ^^
I didnt like how they drew his playing, because even tough there were different tones he only did the same moves.

So next time a Mermaid and a bittle with a blonde, im excited ^^

Well that spoony bard had a reason to be there, but that would basically spoil most of the series if you've played the game though. Also, yeah I forgot to mention that, but it looked like they were being rather cheap with the animation there.

Aside from that it's about time they showed how funny Morgan can be while she's drunk. Besides she did have her drunken moents where either she forced Arthur to drink too much, or where she decided to pick a fight with him.

Yeah it would spoil it, because I havent played the game (neither PC nor PS3 version), but just how I am, I read the Wikipedia site, so I know a lot of things I shouldnt at this time ^^"

On topic: Well he is pretty good if you actually use his songs to support the characters attack, abilities, or even for his HP or MP regnereration. Not only that but he has the ability to recover MP while moving or fighting as well. Along with the Musician/Bard Mercenaries. They tend to be the best type to use for the MP recovery and mix with the blade or bow as well.

Subs or animax? Which is better ATM? Because if DVD subs will be animax and animax subs suck then screw it.

You mind explaing what you meant by that since I have no idea how this is realted to this series now.

Which is better to watch, the fansub or the animax version. If animax sux and it's going to be used in DVD releases then screw it. I'm going to Tivo it if it's good enough.

I've also noticed that there are differences in broadcasts from different stations and DVD releases. Case in point: Sengoku Basara. I've seen at least 5 differences from different stations and the DVD release. DVD sucked bad.

Is it really necessary to ask the same question (copy-paste) in several topics at the same time? Especially since it seems like you already have a preconceived answer anyway. Watch fansubs while you can and buy the DVD is you're a fan of the series. We do not argue about subs quality here, you're free to use or not use them as you see fit.

It was necessary because:

1. I haven't seen the animax or the subbed version which is why i was asking for people's opinions.

2. I have the same question for the two shows which are both being shown in Animax as far as i have heard.

3. I can't decide on the if - then statements until i have actual input, so no, i don't have a preconceived answer.

4. Also, watch now, buy later and watch again is what i do.

btw talking about subbing, will coalguys drop Tears to tiara? cause i couldnt find anything about them officially dropping it and letting other group sub it, though i saw n their site that they will be releasing ep 5 and 6 sooner or later, but in later times i would want know if they really are going to drop it, as for now i have DLed Solstice version anyway still havent watched it

Hmm, unless Coalguys officially announce that they dropped it I think its safe to say they are still subbing it. I noticed they released 3 & 4 at the same time, maybe they will release the next 2 together as well. Although there is nothing wrong with Solstice subs, at least that I can tell, I downloaded their versions because Coalguys file sizes is just too large for me, don't want to waste space
As far as this series goes, I've only seen until eppy 4, downloading eppy 5 now, I feel it's a bit mediocre. I'm going to keep watching for a bit to see the characters voiced by Rie Tanaka and Kaori Nazuka (I'm one of those ppl who watch some anime if there are seiyuus in it that they like lol). Maybe if more characters are introduced the story will get more interesting, thats what I'm hoping for anyway.

God this show is so boring! Nothing seems to happen and the conflict is never really explained. The pace they are taking, it's like they are trying make 12 episoded story into 26 by stretching it so paper thin that it's impossible to keep engaged. I think it's a waste of time to keep watching, so I'm dropping it.

BTW, if you watch ep.5 listen for the Northern Cardinal singing in the background. Singing at night even, which they do not do. Nor do they redside in Britian. Though I suppose this being a mythical mish-mashed Britain, it's OK.

Well this is probably going for the 24/26 episode feel since it'll be a total letdown if it went that short. I mean the gameplay is a lot longer for reasons on powerleveling and obtaining items the hard way. Not only tat but it's supposed to have a rather deep story to this, so it would be kind of an insult if they went short instead of going long here.

And so I managed to watch episode 6. So it was about the so called skirmish in the woods part. Although Octavia was added for good measure I'll bet. In any case they kind of got the whole setup for Llyr backwards there. Since Arwan dealt with the pelt beofre meeting her. Although they did keep her as ditzy as she ever was if you ask me. Which was a good thing of course. Heck it was funny seeing her trying to milk a cow.

In any case it seems Rathty is making her appearance, but instead of being in the woods, at the collseum!? I guess they wanted her to have a better entrance this time around I guess. Although I hope they aren't placing that part before anyting major happens. Besides it'll be a few more episodes beofre Octavia is forced to switch sides though.

Just how many damn wives will Arawn get? If I would be Arthur I would be defenitely pissed right now.
And the crabs at the Beach must be having sex like crazy if they get slaughtered all few days and theres still no end to them.

Octavia had a damn sexy voice and I really like her character even though you havent seen much of her.
And I really dont like that Bubukus (or so), I would kill him if I would be one of his man or his superior.
